Anyone got any ideas on how to paint a rock, with edges?

Basicly I got a piece of cork and took big hunks out of it and dont know how to paint it!

I do mine quite simply. Base of codex grey, wash of ogryn flesh, light drybrush of codex grey again and maybe an additional drybrush of kommando khaki

Adeptus Battlegrey, heavy Devlan wash, drybrush with Battlegrey followed by Codex and Astronomicon. If you've got plenty of cracks and crevices then a green wash before the brown will give you a mossy/licheny feel. You might want to seal the cork with watered down pva first, not sure how absorbent it's going to be.
