On Sun, Aug/29/2010, I made a transaction with col. krazy kenny regarding 2 squads of stormtroopers. One squad had 2 meltas and the other had a plasmagun and a grenade launcher. I sent the $$ and he gave me a tracking #. The address that he shipped the models to does not match up with my city, however.

That's the last I heard, and I checked the shipping info daily, and it said it was delivered TWO days ago at 10AM to NEW BALTIMORE!

Now, New Baltimore is the neighboring city that is quite small, but more populated than Chesterfield. I sent a PM asking what address he had sent them too, but have heard no reply since.

What should I do?

drive to the address and see if you could get your stuff??

Well, you have done the first step here, which is posting the relevant information about the transaction.

I would edit out all the address information though as of this time as well as any other personal information.

Give the Transaction Report time to alert col. crazy kenny that he needs to account for his end of the deal not getting to you.

Next, check with other DakkaDakka members to see if anyone else also has had a problem.

See if anyone knows col crazy kenny personally. This may help expidite the error if this truly was a mistake, as they could personally contact him.

If you believe he has acted criminally, use the personal information to contact the local police and file a police report.

Also contact Paypal, as they can help you with the money transfer if goods do not materialize.

That should be a good start.

Bash the Bosh lists col. crazy kenny as a friend. Give him a PM.

In addition he has posted enough not to be too terribly shifty.

However, he has had no prior reputable trades on DakkaDakka.

There was one email left in the OP, which I edited out. Otherwise I think the personal info was already edited out... thanks for that.

Hopefully, col. krazy kenny just made a mistake in the address, and will get back to you with the exact one he sent it to. Otherwise, I'm not sure if UPS can provide the correct address?

I just had this exact same mix-up happen, and was able to knock on the person's door and get my package. Hopefully, that's the case here, rather than some sort of intentional deception! It would not seem to make sense to do so, as you have 45 days to file for a refund through Paypal.

Keep us updated, and let's keep this thread clear of speculation (helpful advice / input is fine) until we know all the facts.

First thing you should contact paypal. They'll put a hold on the money. And with your emails if you do not receive your items you should be eligible for buyer protection. Paypal is pretty good on this kind of thing.

col krazy kenny has just made a post in the Rep Trader thread, so he IS active here on the boards.

So far his speech is very confusing... He has replied twice to my numerous PM's and there are many contractions/fragments that don't quite add up... I've looked at some of his other posts and some are very well thought out; with capitol letters, complete sentences, and the likes. I am beginning to believe that he may have two people using his account, but this is just a very vague speculation. I'm not saying that he is shifty, but simply that he may have shipped it to the wrong address, and is being difficult...

I know this is old,but he was trying to scam me.That is why i always use postal tracking.I even went to my local postmaster and he even verified that it was delivered to his addy. He may have been the first but he was not the last.Always remeber to use tracking folks.
