Heya guys, first sorry for pics they where taken on me phone . I'am attempting to paint the more retro GW zombie dragon (see bellow) as its still better than the current GW one, but at a bit of a loss of what would look good with skin colours etc as ive never painted any WHFB monsters / dragons before and i dont really wanna make a hash of it , any suggestions or tips be great

My army colour scheme is dark blue and kinda yellowish like these zombies (former empire units is what iam going for), ps. just noticed the mold lines on one of them , but in unit of 50 be reet!

Cheers!!!

LOL, nobody will ever care about mold lines on zombies. You're safe there. If anything you're putting way more work onto them than I ever have. You could base coat your zombies, paint the cloth brown, and dip them and they'd still look great on the tabletop, especially if you put some tastefully applied blood on them (I like Tamiya clear red mixed with Tamiya smoke, personally).
For my Zombie dragon, I went with a necrotic flesh look (see the last issue of White Dwarf for a good article on necrotic flesh), with faded leathery brown scales and starkly contrasted with the glossy blood coming out of the wounds and the red armor of the Blood Dragon Vampire riding it. I'll post pics if I can find some.
