This is the color scheme of my first unit in Warhammer. It's supposed to be almost like stone with energy bursting through it. What do you guys think?
p.s i see the mold line but have no idea how to hide it within the horns ridges.

I think it's an interesting concept, but I'm a fan of color. Looks just a little too plain for me.

You can get rid of the mold line with careful scraping with a hobby knife and then a little clean up with polystyrene cement.
I see what you're going for. I think you could pull it off better if you applied the glowy lighting to recessed areas. For instance you've painted his tongue green but not the inside of the mouth, which seems like a natural place for light to burst from.

I sorta just wanted to have daemons with some sort of energy or fire bursting though them .. something like a lava field. Didn't want red though because everyone uses red on Khorne so I thought of using yellow. I went to the store to buy yellow and I found a neon yellow with a bit of green in it. I had to paint the neon yellow over the black and 8 coats later its still a bit green hahaha. Automatically Appended Next Post: truth be told its much darker without a flash. I wish I could get it this vibrant in real life.

I was thinking , if you use some cotton wool you can paint it up neon green like the energy is seeping out

I agree with plastictrees. You can undercoat white, paint the cracks and suck with a really bright green, go over the surfaces with black (easy over white), then add a glow effect anywhere near the cracks. Really cool idea and incredibly inventive.
Also, basing your models nicely will really make these stand out more from their bases and make it look more like what you are going for. Otherwise it looks like its just no done.
