This is another, albeit simpler, hired gun project I've recently finished (apart from the painting).

Here are the bitz:

I began making this Pit Slave using an original plastic Goliath ganger (if you hadn't already guessed)

Head - I have to give a shout-out to Scrazza who's own project was the inspiration for the dreadlocks. See it here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/112765-.html

R arm (shears) - The shears were thrown together using a piece of sprue, carved and shaped, for the main "body" of the arm. The shear blades were fashioned from a square bases edges. A small piece of wire from a guitar pickup, little slices of sprue and plenty of green stuff finished the arm.

Pistol - An axe haft, green stuff and sprue slices. Not sure whether to call this a home-made Laspistol or Stub gun. Thoughts?

R (bionic) leg - This is just a Necron leg in place of the original. I got really lucky when applying the green stuff to the trousers. By the time I'd smoothed the putty over the thigh, the ragged edges at the bottom were already a perfectly formed cut-off trouser leg.

That's it. Like I said, not a massive project but it's always so easy to overdo conversions if you're not careful (especially for me as my bitz box will attest) so I'm pleased with the result.

As ever, thoughts appreciated and sorry for the pics' quality. I'll upload better ones when the beggar's painted.

Nice hair , and villainous widows peak, can't really see his claw from the photo though.

I'll get better photos up when he's painted. Not sure when that'll be though as I can't decide on a decent scheme that'll set him apart from my actual Goliaths. I've been toying with the idea of a Mauri theme.
