These big guns (intended to be zzap guns) have been my first run with plasticard. They look bad, but are serviceable. Probably the most creative act was taking two miniature bases, and making them wheels. The guns were all from the battlewagon box sets. These could have been a lot worse.

They really don't look that bad. But you will definitely need to Orkify these things. They look too clean ATM. Try adding miss-mashed pieces of plasticard in weird directions to make it look like spare pieces of metal being bolted to them. Also, adding wires and tubing to them would make it look the part too.

Also, I'm digging the Venture Bros. background on your computer...of what I can see.

Not a bad start. Definitely need to texture and orkify your plasticard additions, a bit, but that's not terribly difficult. Just a few plates and rivets, here and there. I would also highly recommend adding some wires and coils to the mix, if you want to run these as zzap guns. I would've assumed they were kannons. If you're feeling moderately ambitious, it wouldn't be all that difficult to make some electrical gubbins that were removable, in case you did want the option of running them as cannons.

Thanks for the advice, fellas. I would like to have the option of making these kannons. I figured I would make an electrical pack connected by a wire for when I want to run them as zzap guns, which is my intention at 1850. However, in low point games, my suspicious is that kannons are more cost effective than lootas, so the option would be nice.
