I had an idea the other day for an RP involving the dark kin.

You would play as the lowest member of a kabal or cult, and slowly make you way up the ranks through assasianting, one - uping and murdering, both your fellow gamers and NPC's. you would also try to gain prestige and riches, whilst prolonging your own twisted life in raids on other species and worlds.

you would have to be either a wych (rise up through the ranks, and possibly become a hellion), or a warrior ( again moving up through the ranks. options to become a reaver)

There would be no god-modding. :(

He often made jokes of each one that the Trueborn killed. One day, Bizaal found a dead Warrior on the streets of the Dark City, and he donned its armor. He grabbed its Splinter Rifle, Pistol and Knife, and headed out to the nearest Kabalite base. He now carries the same Rifle, armor, Pistol and knife, now with a Shredder and Haywire Grenades.

Hmm it seems to be all Kabal at the moment

The question we need to ask is how dedicated is the GM going to be?

Although honestly, I don't particularly enjoy these roleplays that depend heavily on ranking and "insta-levelling" or whatever you wanna call it.

I prefer proper fiction that people actually put time into.

Eh, I guess this is why that other forum had seperate catogories for roleplays:

Literate
Semi-Literate
Non-Literate

I like both sort of RP's but I am edging a bit more to the RP's Dark likes and ones that he actually creates. But as I said, I like and do both

Isn't that basically what you're doing? I mean, sure you've put it as promotions but in the space of a single roleplay, even two promotions would be a bit over the top in most cases.

Besides, there's already about a dozen roleplays going on Dakka and not enough people to go around, so I'd suggest this roleplay waits awhile.

background: was found by the kabal of the poisened kriss as a child and the archon saw he was a promising young pupil so he got training from the some of the most stone cold assasins. now he is a fully grown man and he is looking to become one of the greatest assasins for his archon.
