I think that looks great. Great job man. The only thing I can suggest is maybe doing some Very slight highlighting to the edges of the weapon. maybe in just red and orange. Just to make the weapon pop.

Again I like it.

I like the layering, it looks really good. I agree with the highlighting idea, you may want to try a 70/30 mix of (if you use the Citadel range) Blazing Orange and Codex Gray.

To be honest, lightning-effects does it's job best on Nemesis Force weapons IMO. Where power weapons looks best with a glow instead.

But you did the lightning well for being a first time, but at every "crossroad"/"T-section" on the lightning I'd do extreme highlights with pure white.

Really dig the power weapon! The reverse side is best imo... makes me want to try a PW as well!

PW looks cool to me, i´m not so sure about the cloak, maybe you would be so kind as to show another angle of that model...?

I think it looks good. But the most important part is, you learned how to do it better for next time. That process is best. Thats how I learned to make trench coats for my Flashgits. My first attempt turned out ok, but I learned how to make it better, and so I did

You have the pattern right, and that's the hardest thing. It looks great now but doing more extreme yellow or white highlighting will make it even better.

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Nice, I really like it.

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

I would also tone down the cloak a bit with a wash of Baal and Badab so the weapon pops more. Right now my eye is drawn down to that really bright cloak and the weapon is overwhelmed by the color.

The thing turned out rather well, I think. Sure, there's always room for improvement, but I do think you turned out that technique right the first time.

Honestly, though, you could get a 9 on Coolmini and still have room for improvement. And that sort of attitude is held by the people who progress in painting enough to get 9s on coolmini.

I reread my post and I realized I did not take the chance to say it looks very good. AS Odin sated, there is always room for improvement, but I wish my first PW turned out nearly that well.
