flimmyyip - There are probably plenty of OSL tutes out there on the web I guess. Never read one though myself, it's all just planning and observation really. It's not as hard as it might seem tbh, assuming you got the basics of blending down. I may well write a tute up next time I do another OSL piece though...

Excellent work on the lighting effects.

Fan-freaking-tastic. The warm torchlight is blended nicely and the shadow on the wall really makes it feel real. Obviously it's an exaggerated effect and not actually a realistic representation of torchlight, but lighting is all about feel when it comes to painting and you nailed it.

I would also love a tutorial. None of the ones I've come across have really "clicked" with me, so far, and it's always nice to have another perspective.
