Minor and (easy) tips that is certain to improve your photo.
1) Light Source , people always seem to forget this but , the place the light hits makes the spot brighter >.<
for example... you are taking photo of the model front yet the light is shinning onto their back, wouldnt work.
2) Your camera is fine , i can tell from the clarity of the static grass as well as the patterns on your bases
lol.
Basically your camera's lens is zoomed in at the wrong spot ( cant blame the camera right? it doesnt know the difference between the base and the tyranids! )
But there are easy ways to fix this too.
a) Use a clean back ground , this way it cuts out the chance of the lens zooming in at the wrong things.
b) Further the distance of the camera. See how HUGE the pics are? ( for those that didnt know , click on the pics enlarge it to the original size )
There is simply no need for a pic to be that close. Take the distant you are using now , and increase it by 1 foot.
I can tell the problem with distance easily by this pic:

It means it was SO CLOSE that the lens is only able to choose to zoom in one of the area ( the body that was further away ) hence the whole closer area ( the arm )
is blurred. Having more distance means the lens will be able to focus on ALL the mini indifferently.
