Hi all,

Here is what I have done so far with my AOBR Nobz. After assembling them, i sawed all the arms off. then i set about converting them with bits i had from the AOBR box and a box of Nobz. Pretty simple at the moment, but i felt i better show what i've got so far. More exciting conversions incoming in the next few weeks.

I did the same with a couple flashgits. Ive notice that no matter how you shave/grind the shoulders, the arms rarely fit perfectly, specially with shootas. Those look pretty good though, now you just need to get some paint on them

Here is the (nearly) completed Nobz squad. please excuse the mad dok, my first foray into large scale greenstuff was a bit messy. it hardened really quickly and was difficult to smooth out. anyone know how i could make it smoother? does using a wet utensil work whilst shaping it?

It's important to keep the tool wet when shaping green stuff.

The models look nice. Are you trying to diversify the wargear?

i set out with the goal to make honest boyz out of the nobz from the AOBR box.

The guy with only one PK arm is gonna have a waagh banner, i just need to find the right gubbins for that.

unit looks something like this on papar:

6 x Nobs (20) : 1x Painboy (30), Cybork (30) 1x PK (25), Kombi-Skorcha (5), 1x Big Choppa (BC) (5), Kombi-Skorcha (5), 1x BC (5), Slugga (-), 1x BC (5), Slugga (-), BP (5), 1x PK (25) WB (15), Slugga (-)

Total: 275

I made my Waagh! banners from the battlewagon bit that fits over the periscope. Actually, two of the three are plasticard replicas of that bit. Mine are just stuck on a bit of brass rod, but a few more odds and ends would make proper banners, I should think.

In my Bully Boyz formation, I've got 15 or 16 Black Reach Nobs. Other than the Waagh! Banners, mine have just a few weapons and things from the Nobs boxes that supplied the rest of the Nobs. Not quite so creative as yours, but probably easier.
