Howdy Folks
The image is my first painted set for Warhammer 40K a Tau XV25 Stealth Team. Is set the right term? I figured seeing as how it is a set of figures I would call them a set, anyway, feel free to critique and flame away. Yes the image is not very bright but I do not have much in the line of photography equipment, though I tried to brighten it up in Photoshop there is allot of Stealthy black and grey. I based the color scheme on the Ghost in the Shell Therm-Optic Camo. from GITS Second Gig episodes. Working on my Tau Fire Warrior Set, see there is the set word again...

You could try using a blue wash to bring out more of the detail and more highlighting. From the pic it looks like you just pray painted it for the most part, then again it might just be the pic.

nice colour scheme... as in i can just make out the kinda colour scheme that u're trying to do and i think it'll look great if you can accentuate it more...

anyway, 1st thing's 1st... its a squad.. not a set... haha...

2ndly, have you heard of highlighting?? if not i suggest going 2 the actual games workshop website and look for the tutorials on highlighting... let me know if you can't find the link... but considering that your painting black primarily... it's quite very important to do highlights as it really brings out the details in your models.

let me know if you need anymore help =)

stealth or not, they could use some colour or highlights. Still, looks like a neat paint job.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.
