Been considering making a fluff-tastic Chaos Daemon army to compliment my Slaanesh CSM. HOWEVER, the currently available Daemonettes are about as viciously ugly as [insert horse-faced ugly female person here], and I was looking for something a little more gentle on the eyes.

I did come across the below image in a much older thread from back in 2006 and they happen to be THE daemonette style I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Would anyone know where to go to find these?

The are the previous edition of Daemonettes (or the Diaznettes)

You will most likely as mentioned above be hunting on ebay or trade swap and sell forums to find them.

I must say be prepared to pay for them, they do go for quite a pretty penny.

The sink.

You can find them on ebay, usually for $40 for ten. Sometimes for more though...

Holy crap, you weren't kidding.

I guess ebay had a dry spell last I checked (couple of weeks ago), what has resurfaced is insanely priced. Cheapest I can find on ebay seems to be $8 excluding shipping. A set of 10 going for $100!

Who can blame the sellers though? They know the current GW daemonettes are ugly as sin... and everything I've read says they are suppose to be the opposite.

If I'm required to pay premium for these girls, anyone happen to know someone that does plastic versions of old out of production metals? Probably shooting for the stars on this one, but if there just happens to be someone out there willing to remake the old models in plastic form for a reasonable price compared to what everyone is asking for the originals, I'd be interested in seeing it!

wow...i have like 20 of these....maybe i should strip the paint and sell them ...

otherwise, yea, maybe try a swap shop, or a a local store that sells GW on the side....sometimes they have ancient boxes sitting on the shelves that no one ever looks at.

(i once found an starter set of mordhiem, along with starter boxes for just about every warband, plus an old inquisitor rulebook, and some of the INQ models.)

When they were in production, they RETAILED at $40 for ten.

Good luck finding them that cheap nowadays. They are on of the hottest GW OOP commodities out there.

If you're lucky, a local gameshop might still carry a box or two of them. I recently found a box of OOP Fleshhounds selling for a paltry 25 bucks (there's 5 hounds in there) and two Bloodletter command for only 5 bucks. shopkeeps usually dont seem to know the actual worth of older models and tend to sell them at extremely reduced prices. They're also often hidden behind stacks of newer products so only those that look closely ever notices them (the bloodletters were hidden within a box of old timely blisters that the owner decided to let go for a flat 5 bucks per blister. there were three boxes, so you can imagine how long that took >.&gt.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
