Using the colors i have, got some nice clean looks to these guys. not at the level of multiple shade levels, but maybe in the future.
thoughts welcome.

Kind of difficult to critique what is essentially a basecoated model, by most painters' standards. The paint looks smooth and even, from what I can tell, and you seem to have "stayed within the lines," as it were, so you've got the basic techniques down.
Without getting into highlighting/shading or adding different colors (since you lack the paints), the most I can suggest for these models is to clean up the bases. A little work to get rid of the stray clumps of flock and the uneven spray on the rims will help them look finished, if a little flat. Get yourself some more paints and start experimenting with painting light and shadow and you'll be in good shape.

Looks solid to me if a bit flat. I suggest looking into some GW washes.

Thanks for the advice. yea they are flat, ive never been able to master the use of washes. I might have to try some from GW, unless someone knows of another brand that is also good. As to the shading, can anyone point me towards a how to video that can explain that? I have tried it before, but always end up with it in the wrong locations on the mini or it not looking right.

Many people look down on the humble art of drybrushing, but it has always served me well...
Seriously though, unless you're painting to a high standard or for a competition there's absolutely nothing wrong with drybrushing. It highlights/shades very effectively with a minimum amount of time consumed doing it.

Im not going for something to win any painting comps, just something to look nice on the table. I'll try drybrushing a bit, see if it gives me the effect I want. Thanks for the advice.
