ok, so i decided to mod one of my gundam toys from 3 lifetimes ago into a warhound titan, didnt take bore pictures due to a lack of a brain on my shoulders, but here is what it looks like now...i will be bulking up the legs more to match the shape of the torso and will be working more on the head, but let me know what you guys think (and dont tell me its too short, i know, heres my solution: is a warpuppy, not a warhound and its a different pattern, not mars (or lucien for that matter) but my own fictional pattern (jordanis pattern?)

I am not sure, but I thought there was a smaller class of titans called Knights that were smaller than warhounds.... I am not sure if there are rules or if they are just a fluff thing though.

Here is the lexicanum thing about them
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Knight

It looks like they have one Titan weapon and a CCW. I am not sure if it is a titan class or dreadnought class CCW though.

It looks cool so far, keep up the good work.

i think they have rules for epic 40k, but i know for a fact that they dont have rules in apoc... but i plan on running this as a warhound, i think once i get the legs covered in plasticard it will look a lot better, then comes my favorite part: painting....

lol, yup, and i was gonna use the torso to make a scratchbuilt dreadnaught, the monoboob (for lack of better term) thing looks like where the sarcophagus would be... to me anyways

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also, the reason i used sazabi was cuz its the biggest one i own and the lower leg looks cool...

OK, so i decided to download a pdf file of a paper warhound, been working on that all day, almost finished, i will post pics tomorrow when i have my camera available and can get the superglue thimbles off my fingers...tbh, my first rendition was how tall i imagined them to be, and i was way way way off...Mr. sazabi legs is half as tall as it should be....oh well...it was a nice learning experience

I was just going to comment that the first model there is waaay too small for a warhound titan, but it seems you figured it out

mine is almost accurate to the scale reference in the apoc book, where a man is the height of the foot...Oh well, my only problem now is that i cant get it to stand on its own, the legs keep snapping (it didnt drink enough calcium as a kid)

update again: its standing on its own, but leaning unnaturally to the left...i think i will just ram an acrylic rod up its arse to fix the posture...i welcome other suggestions as i dont really want a random pole going from ground to crotch...(especially since its a female )

new update: i have the warhound standing on its own...no detail work done yet, but i have coated the thing with 4ish layers of polyeurathane (i know i spelled that wrong...) and will start detailing it (hopefully) next week...i still need a name for it and would love suggestions (serious ones, not "gakhead" or "fethmaker" or anything similarly stupid)

im lazy, its just a cadian army...i guess it could be Jordanis (since its a joke about my email address, and it kinda sounds like a planet name to me) i guess i could name it "Hammer or Jordanis" but id rather have it in latin (AKA high gothic)

Jordanis Malleus, is a (crude) translation of Hammer of Jordanis.

I really like that new warhound, how did you get the plans for it? Or make the template, if that's what you did?

google "paper Warhound titan" and i think it was like 5 links down... thanks for the rough translation, sounds good to me...i also found a torrent on the pirate bay called "Ultimate warhammer 40k pack," took me 3 days to download, it contains the .pdf file for it...i swear on my life it has no virus...but it only has like 3 seeders but lucky for you guys, im one of em, so it should go a lil faster as my computer is on nearly 16 hours a day...if anyone is interested, pm me and i can hook you up

sorry for the delay in getting this going:
UPDATE:
did about 3 hours of detailing (finally) i have almost completed it, all i need now is some aquila symbols and tubing for the weapons then i can start painting!
i used straws of varying diameters for the pistons and lego wheels to cover the joints as well as more legos for some raised detail, as well as more straws for the vents in the back and popsickle sticks.
