hey guys this if the first scratch build ive done (well the wings lol) there just a wire frame with green stuff and paper for the membrain bits, c@c welcome but be nice lol

loks cool so far. but cant really tell. you have to do something about your light setting. way to much light not enough contrast.
and also when doing army shots try to do it with only one force. the shots where very overloaded. so that i couldn´t concentrate on single features...

but i do think your greenstuf work could need a bit of sanding to make it a bit slender ?
otherwise the concept looks really cool.

yea i cant do much about the pics apart from haveing less in the pics lol, i have a dodgy digicam lol, i thought about sanding it, theres heaps of finger prints in it lol il give it a shot before i prime it

finaly finished this thing completely, had him painted for ages but just finished the base, keep in mind this is the first base ive ever done

It really reminds me of the Panzer Dragoon series dragons, which is just plain awesome since that was a fantastic series!

just noticed the lighting exeagerates the blue, but yea you get the jist lol

Good job on the wings, only beef is that the armature supporting the wings is a little heavy/thick for something thats supposed to fly.

Is it pure GS or wire supported?

theres wire in there but i didnt embed the wire into the body of it, i made them seperate then glues/green stuffed em on. i had to make it sturdy lol

You have tackled something that always irked me about flying models with wings, namely that it always feels like the wings would be too small for the model to actually fly if it had them. The fact that yours are significant enough to seem physically useful rather than decorative is to the credit of the model. As wolfshadow said, the muscualture could be slightly more delicate, but practice will see to that in future i'm sure! Keep up the work, I look forward to seeing your future efforts.

thanks heaps, i realy wanted to do all the entries in the codex that dont have models, cheers for the insperation, i might try em now lol
