I recently did a simple conversion on an old "Battle for Macragge" mini I had laying about...but now I'm a bit stumped as to what to use it as.
I plan to include it in my budding Praetorians...however,I can't really decide if he looks more like a "Commander" or a Commissar...or perhaps even an Inquisitor...
Basically just looking for some feed back,I know the pictures are lousy...sorry about that.

He's lacking the commissar cap that really distinguishes them, so i'd say commander.

Envoy to the Fleet (or whatever it is called)? It really looks like an Imperial Navy guy, and that Advisor is reasonably useful.

Officer of the Fleet is the title I believe. And fluff wise that model was suppose to be an Imperial Navy Pilot.

With a very small amount of conversion work, it could easily be an officer of the fleet, commissar, or master of ordnance. As-is, though, I'd have to say it is pretty stuck in as a senior officer.

just lob off the hat of a Senior officer and tack it on him. you can also cut down a few purity seals and make them into tiny badges to make him a Commissar.

Some pretty interesting ideas here.
I have to state that I am a bit apprehensive to add any sort of hat/cap to the mini, not due to any lack of confidence in my ability to do so...but simply because I really like the bald head...the pictures don't do it justice, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Officer of the fleet was an option I never considered,I may have to look a bit further into that.

well you could always just have his hat hanging on his belt. However Commissars are almost universally clothed in jet black with red highlights. From the pictures, he looks more like an Empire Priest thrown into 40K (which might make him awesome for a Ministrum Priest). Officer of the Fleet is the best bet atm.
