Hello fellow wargamers!
My mind went green (or red?) and I put this thing together:

HQ
Grumbad da BIG an' RED – Ork Warboss, w. power klaw, attack squig, cybork body
Whotnotz Knowswot
– Big Mek, w. Kustom Force Field, burna, attack squig

TROOPS
Gukk's Speedaz – 12 Slugga Boyz, w. rokkit launcha, nob w. power klaw and bosspole, rides in a trukk with red paint job, stikkbomb chukka and rokkit launcha
Nogg's Weedaz – 12 Slugga Boyz, w. rokkit launcha, nob w. power klaw and bosspole, rides in a trukk with red paint job, stikkbomb chukka and rokkit launcha
Da 'Umpa's Red'Uns – 11 Slugga Boyz, w. rokkit launcha, nob w. power klaw and bosspole, rides in a trukk with red paint job, stikkbomb chukka and rokkit launcha
Da BIG an' RED's krew – 19 Slugga Boyz, w. rokkit launcha, nob w. power klaw and bosspole
MORK'S GLUURY – Deffdread, w. extra close combat weapon, skorcha and armour plates

Grumbad's Luuv - Battlewagon w. deffrolla, red paint job, 4 rokkit launchas, grot riggers and stikkbomb chukka
Roadbreakka
- Looted Wagon w. boomgun, grot riggers, 'arc case
Whotnotz' Riggas - 3 Killa Kans w. 2 Rokkit Launchas, 1 kustom mega blasta

That's around 1820pts isch. Any ideas what to put in?

Idea with the list is a rush with trukks, walkers, bikes and battlewagon at the biggest part of the enemy's lines. Grots will chill at home, holding some objective and take a snack, while the Looted Wagon supports the rush with pie-plates (yummy). Deffkoptas scout and will put some scare around the enemy's tanks and have fun!

What do you think, folks? Green? Or can it get greeeeener?

As long as you go first, you seem scary.

Pray that you don't play against anti-vehicle, and or Mech Guard.

I'd say make sure your Koptas are each taking a slot.

And how do I "opt" the list towards more anti-vehicle/mech guard without going Lootas-spam and losing the Speed Freaks-theme?

Koptas - check!


You have the turn advantage of getting down there fast enough to pose an early threat.

So many scary things to shoot at.

Anti-Vehicle options, PK's, Tanbustas, more Deffkoptas, Lootas (Light AV), BW with deffrollas.

To keep your theme, I'd run Koptas and more PK bikes, or Nobz with Big Choppas.

This list has a few major problems, but they should be easy to fix. With Speed Freakz, you really need to go balls to the walls with the theme. This list contains some elements that don't fit the theme and will hamper its performance on the tabletop. Your Deffdread and Killa Kans do not belong in this list at all. They will get split from the army and die. Get more fast units instead of them.

Your Big Mek doesn't need a Burna or Attack Squig, IMO. Once he gets into combat, he's done his job. Those points can be better spent elsewhere. He should be run with just the KFF.

Rokkit Launchas on your Trukks and in your boy mobz are generally a bad idea. Two BS2 Rokkits aren't going to do anything. Drop them.

Trukks need Reinforced Rams and they don't need Stikkbomb Chuckas. Great, you strike at I3 when you charge into cover. Whoopie! You'll go last to most things and totally waste those points. Rerolling DT tests is incredible and well worth the points.

Another thing I love on Trukks are Boarding Planks. 4 PK attacks on a nearby tank without exposing yourself to incoming fire is wonderful. I put them on all my Trukks.

I've never been impressed with Biker Boyz. I'd trade them for another Kopta, but if you love them, run them.

Your Battlewagon has too many of the wrong upgrades. I'd recommend the following loadout:

Battlewagon 135pts
+ DeffRolla
+ Red Paint Job
+ Armor Plates
+ Boarding Plank
+ Big Shoota

Looted Wagons are pretty garbage. I'd try to find the points for another Battlewagon instead.

You don't need stikk bomb chukkas on Trukks as Orks are I2 normally, I3 when charging so not likely going first. I'd also drop the rokkits on the Trukks and in fact drop the Trukks and get more Battlewagons as that one will be blown to pieces.
