changing thread to be all my WIP!

I dug out all my Warhammer last year and have really got into the painting side of things, recently i bought 10 damned legionnaires and wondered how to make an army of them? i must admit to not actually giving it too much thought untill this week. I have just got a box of the new blood angel sanguinnary guards?? - wrong spelling! - deciding i want to send them to hell and back in the name of gaming. i plan on leaving all the marking on them as blood drops could fit in with the damned, although i have taken off the blood angels name from the banner.

I am thinking of a black/grey armour on them as an experiment but giving all the wings a fire colour - going through the feathers red to yellow. thinking it may look quite cool. also will work on how to price them points wise and on how the jump packs will work with the slow and purposful rule. Welcome any ideas.

i think some of the new ba bits would make for good lotd conversions, an army would be cool, you any good at gs? btw centurious mini is worth a fair whack if you have the complete mini. keep it up cant wait to see if you get it done.

Ok so i have done my first set of 'fire' wings, am reasonably pleased with how they are. gonna work on the jump pack next - am not exactly practised in the art of GS so may try to free hand paint something on the main jet. ?Heres some pics, let me know what you guys think.

the armour was done in following steps,

undercoat - Space wolf grey
badab black washed TWICE!
space wolf grey on armour
followed by 1:1 space wolf grey/white
final white 'highlight'

not overly hard but got a damn good result for it

currently doing wolf guard so could possinly work a step by step from them,
