Okay, well I didn't want to bogart the best conversion thread with hundreds of pics but I did want to show you all some more of my stuff. A lot of it is still WIP, (I get bored and move from project to project a lot of the time).

Anyways I will use this to post some highlights and some additional pictures of some of my stuff I have posted on dakkadakka before. Let me know what you think!

Wazdakka:

WIP Pics of Wazdakka:

He was made from a widened Deffcopta, AoBR Warboss, Trukk, Deffrolla, Guitar Strong, and loads of ork bitz!

Looted Trygon:

He was originally supposed to be a Harpy. I had cut up the tail and made it more straight instead of curled. I never got around to finishing it, so when it came time to sell my Tyranid Army, I decided to keep him since I would have had to buy another tail to make him worthy to sell. In the end I looted him and replace the missing tail components with Ork "Njonnewitty". BTW that is supposed to be a laser beam attached to his head. I figured he needed warm meals too...

Anyone else think I should paint the controllers to be Wiimotes?

My first conversion ever, made about 5 years ago. I never got around to finishing the paint on it, but I will someday. It is a Stoma with Valkyrie for a Jetpack, think of "Stormboy Stompa". (I can hear the machine spirit screaming from here! Bwah Ha Ha Yarp Yarp!)

There that should start you all out! I have some more like Festus the Leechlord but I do not want to cram the first post too full!

At first I felt like crying, a little - such great conversions and you're painting them like THAT? Then I reread the intro and saw that most of them are still WIP. If you get everything painted up to the level of the looted trygon instead of the splotchy battlewagon, then you'll really have something to brag about. Well? Get to work!

@Aqua: Thanks! Be sure to check back later for more. I didn't want to overload the thread at first.

And I totally agree with you! My problem is, I like Green stuff way more than paint and my mind comes up with really crazy ideas before the first one is finished. I can paint better, it is just so hard for me to focus. I think I have warhammer ADHD.

I am trying to paint more though. I just finished this yesterday:

Also I can't help myself, here is Festus made from an Ork boy! (that is supposed to be a swarm of flies coming out of the bottle. A few firiends have suggested for me to snap them off and forget about trying to model the flies!)

Although it may have never been done before, Khanaris from the old Tauonline website was pretty damn inspirational for me. I like to think his Looted Fex had a part in the inspiration.

So Wiimotes for the controllers?

Okay I have only just started painting this monstrosity, but hopefully you can get and idea of what I am shooting for. Looted Airship! I admit, I did get the idea from a fellow dakka member. Santobell made a very nice airship for his 40K army, The Skave. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/210/317903.page

I really like the looted Trygon. The tail has to be my favorite part. I wonder if the ork still uses its tunneling abilities

My favorite vehicle proper would have to be that stompa with the jetpack. Very creative. I can just imagine that towering monstrosity of metal flying towards the enemy, and no one knows what to do about it. Think it might need a few (dozen) more jets on it so it at least looks like it could achieve some sort of lift.

Thanks for the comments! I did try that stompa out in a few Apoc games. I added like 300 points to the Klaw Stompa and gave it the Eldar Revenant Titan jump except wioth 2D6 deviation. It was not pretty. The last thing you want in a Apoc game is for a Klaw Stompa to jump halfway across the board and start assaulting you.

That airship is sweet! Is that all scratchbuilt? Very creative work.

Are there rules for orks to utilize looted vehicles?

See the model on the left in the second pic (Big Stompa)? That is what the airship used to look like. As for the rules, I would probably use it as a Big Stompa. Of course if I could get someone to let me use some custom airship rules for it then I would use those.

Orks can use looted vehicles but they are usually equivilant to something already in their codex. They have trukks, and if someone were to put wheels on a hammer head and make it look like it can carry some orks, you could probably use it as a trukk too.

The looted Trygon is a little far stretched though. I did it because I could and I would probably have to ask my opponent's permission to use it in a game. I would probably either use it as a Deff Dread or a Trukk.

@winnertakesall: Thanks! I was a little worried about the fly's look.

@ycw753: Oh I agree, because if that trygon goes under ground, that whole ork contraption on top is coming off!

@Santobell: Like I said before, thanks for the inspiration. You had a very great idea for the airship you used for your Skave army.
