Well this idea is a bit of an experiment. It should be very fun to play and I guess if it goes first it should smash face.
..If it goes second however I am thinking it is probably going to loose. There are too many variables for me to do any mathhammering so I'll present the list to you and will play a few games vs some friends to gather data.

Da plan? Trukks go 18', wazzdakka 18-24 and opens fire, buggies go 12 and open fire, deffkopta alphastrikes. Stormboys form a line behind the trukks out of Los an prevent the trukks from kareening anywhere except towards enemy lines. Turn 2 waaagh and apply fist to face

You have enough troop choices to do well in objectives but in kill pts you will have a harder time due to the availability of a lot of kill pts. As you say if you go second you may be at a disadvantage, depending on how many long ranged weapons they have. You can deploy behind cover with the important units to help this. I wonder if you could take some Killer Kans at 40pts each? Which you can place infront of your trucks just as portable cover... random idea but would protect your transports from having the entire lot wiped out in one turn.

Trukk heavy lists seem like they would be pretty hilarious to play, I have a few suggestions though..

Wazdakka without a bike squad with him will get horribly maimed before he has a chance to earn his points back, I would say either invest in a bike squad or since its a trukk heavy list get a 2nd KFF.

I dont like Meganobz honestly, they are so expensive and since your focused on getting a 2nd turn assualt they are to damn slow. Trukks have 10 armor, one squad of marines with bolters can leave your 2 squads of Meganobz (260 points) cupping their balls for the whole game while they waddle to the other end of the board. If you like Meganobz get them a Battle Wagon with Deffrolla and put one of your KFF guys in it, it will stick with your speed assualt (and squish) theme while keeping them as safe as ork transport gets. I personally would rather go with 2 regular Nob choices all decked out with a Painboy and using them to get 2 dedicated battlewagons with Deffrollaz.

Red Paint on your trukks man! If you want Turn 2 assualt that bonus inch can mean wether you get it or not!

I like your idea for using your stormboyz but i personally would run Zagstrukk. for 85 points you get a Nob with better WS, +1 Wound, autopass BP, Deepstrike, and hmm...oh thats right INITIATIVE PK ON THE CHARGE. You get that PK bonus EVERY time you assualt the enemy. Plus deepstriking them sounds like a lot of fun too!

Thanks for the replies guys.
The Kan idea dosen't work because the Kans move slower than the trukks and I already have a 4+ cover save from the KFF.

I dont actually believe Wazza can be maimed easily on his own. He is toughness 6, 3 wounds with +3 cover save. If the amount of firepower needed to take him down is directed at him then most probably the trukks will survive and he will have earned his points tactically. In this list his is another prong in the strike pattern. At worst I can hide him out of LOS.

Meganobs are there ecause I need the klaws. If this list meets Landraiders it is going to need alot of klaw attacks to open them. Also Meganobz can survive a counter assault by stuff that is embarked in transports.Yes a battlewagon does this job better with a Deffrolla but this is a different list.

I'll try the RPJ all around. Probably better than the Boarding plank

Zagstrukk has all of thiose things going for him however for me he is a definte no due to his arrival from deepstrike.
Firstly he is prone to fail as 15 Boys have a huge footprint.
Secondly his assault is almost impossible to pull of meaning you loose troops and the remaining boys are stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Thirdly the stormboys are no longer behind the trukks which means that the trukks may careen off back to my tabble edge.

PS For those interested here are the number of shots neede to kill a turboboosting Wazzdakka (statistically)
Assume MEQ ballistic skill of 4 you need
81 STR (4 or less) shots or
40,5 STR 5 shots or
27 STR 6 shots or
20,25 STR 7 shots or
16,2 STR 8+ shots or
4,3 STR 10 shots (insta death)
