I don't really care what the AUD prices are. I never buy locally anyway, so only the £UK/$US prices concern me.

Is it actually cheaper to buy from overseas UK?!?!!? Ive been ordering from Oasis Games on ebay and stuff, but otherwise I buy from my local mindgames D:

You have WASTED $1000s... and kept locals in jobs/business.

However, http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/ works out to be approximately 54% AUS RRP INCLUDING P&P

Enjoy.

Big question is will we be seeing them in the initial release or a month after?

Initial release, obviously.

They arent going to leave the standard unit troops choice, and placeholder for the standard elite and heavy support choices, which has been confirmed hundreds of times to be IN THE INITIAL RELEASE, out of the initial release.

Well here I sit praying that you're right about the pre order.

Anyone else think Matt Ward sucks? I mean the BA codex has lotsa cool stuff but very little that actually works together. Sanguinary guard are pathetic, you can't use a chaplain to guide death company, it seems like sanguinary priests and stormravens are the book's only saving graces. Couldn't the grey knights get the guy who authored the DE or IG codex?

GK Terminator sprue info by fluffy05:

They look very nice and are every bit as detailed as the old pewter GK Terminators.

There are extra pieces to make the GK Term Paladin models - helmets and icons to stick on top of the terminator armour. There are at least two heads without helmets that look good as variants too (for Justicars or even a librarian model). There appears to be one of each of the weapon choices - Psycannon, Incinerator and Psyilencer. Also on sprue were options for swords, halberds, nemesis staff and a Daemon Hammer.

The shoulder pads were the same design as the pewter versions and look great!

The Bane of Daemons— Article by Simon Grant
In the tumultuous years that led up to the invasion of Terra at the climax of the Horus Heresy, the Emperor foresaw the need to prepare humanity for the years to come should the decisive battle go ill. The Master of Mankind deemed the implementation of this new and secret organisation to be of such grave import that he entrusted its founding to none other than Malcador the Sigilite. By setting his Regent to such a task in so dire a time as the Horus Heresy, the Emperor clearly illustrated the necessity for such an institution to exist. And so, the creation of the Grey Knights Chapter was to be the Emperor's final gift to Mankind before his ascension to the Golden Throne, an army of incorruptible warriors whose sole duty was to protect humanity from the malevolent Daemons of the Warp.

Designated Chapter 666, the Grey Knights first emerged in the calamitous wake of the Horus Heresy and immediately set about the grim task of purging the daemonic taint that remained on many Imperial worlds in the aftermath of the bitter conflict. Whenever the Grey Knights appeared, the Daemons of the Warp were annihilated and the beleaguered Imperial forces saved. Such was the secretive nature of the silver-armoured warriors, that few of the populations they saved were even aware of their deliverance until the mysterious absence of their daemonic assailants became apparent. But the Grey Knights had already moved on, their mission accomplished, but their sworn duty never complete.

The Grey Knights are, first and foremost, a Space Marine Chapter, but there are surprisingly few similarities between them and the other Adeptus Astartes. First among equals, the Grey Knights utilise the very finest equipment that the Mechanicum of Mars have to offer, vehicles and weaponry so esoteric and rare that they are reserved exclusively for their use. It is rumoured that the Grey Knights share a genetic heritage with the Emperor himself in the same way as other Adeptus Astartes do with their Primarch. If this were indeed true, then it would go some way to explain how the Grey Knights can face the Daemons of the Warp and remain pure and untainted; in their ten-thousand year history, not a single Grey Knight has fallen to Chaos.

Forewarned of a daemonic presence by the prescience of the Chapter's Prognosticars, a task force of Grey Knights will set out from their secret citadel on Titan, Saturn's largest moon, aboard a sleek, silver spacecraft of the finest quality. With but a thousand Grey Knights to protect the million worlds within the Imperium's fold, such a detachment will rarely consist of an entire Brotherhood, the equivalent of a standard Chapter company, as there are simply not enough Grey Knights to deploy in force except under the most dire circumstances. But despite the overwhelming odds they inevitably face in battle, the Grey Knights are never found wanting, such is their skill, determination and valour.

Burn and Purge!

Grey Knights on the Battlefield
The Grey Knights are the ultimate Space Marines, elite even amongst others of their kind. Armed with an array of deadly weaponry that would leave any Space Marine player salivating, the Grey Knights are more than equipped to deal with anything they will face on the battlefield. With Terminator Squads as Troops, a Grey Knights army can consist entirely of these fearsome warriors. There are no less than four squads in power armour, each with a specific battlefield role to play, so the Grey Knights have a huge variety in their army selection. Regardless of its army composition, a Grey Knights army is terrifying to face on the battlefield, with each individual capable of slaying many times his own number of adversaries, be they Daemon, xenos or any other enemy of the Imperium.

Weapons & Wargear
Each Grey Knight is equipped with a Nemesis force weapon and storm bolter as standard, meaning that not only can each model unleash two shots a turn, even on the move, but all of their close combat attacks will ignore armour saves. Even without additional equipment, a Grey Knight army is a force to be reckoned with, but when you consider the options available to them, their combat potential is astonishing. Each Nemesis weapon type grants different advantages in addition to its status as s force weapon, from the aggressive halberd option (+2 Initiative), to the near impenetrable defence offered by the Nemesis warding stave (2+ invulnerable save in combat). The heavy weapons wielded by the Grey Knights are similarly deadly, with the psycannon offering the dual role of heavy or assault weapon, and the multi-barrelled psilencer able to unleash a ferocious six shots a turn.

Psychic Potential
The grim nature of the task that befalls the Grey Knights requires every potential recruit to be a psyker. The chosen few that survive the many harrowing trials to earn the title of Grey Knight learn to channel their innate psychic abilities into their Nemesis weapons, empowering them far beyond the capacity of a standard power weapon. Though all Grey Knights are inherently psychic, relatively few are skilled or gifted enough to undergo training as a Librarian. Each Grey Knight squad therefore learns to channel their psychic abilities through their Justicar. On the battlefield, this manifests in every squad's ability to cast psychic powers, whether it be to amplify their strength in combat or to use their powers to fire upon enemies that could not be targeted by normal means. Players can use the cabalistic abilities of each squad to gain a further tactical edge over their enemies.

Heroes of the Imperium
Every member of the Grey Knights is a psyker of some degree or other, so it goes without saying that the Chapter's designated Librarians are amongst the most powerful in the Imperium. Able to call upon a host of deadly, debilitating and augmentative powers, a Grey Knights Librarian is a formidable presence on the battlefield. Similarly supreme in the field of war, the Chapter's Brother-Captains and Grand Masters are heroes all and leaders without equal. The individual actions of these mighty champions can save or even destroy entire worlds. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the leaders of the Grey Knights are therefore amongst the most powerful in the game.
.Grey Knights: Getting Started

The Scions of TitanTitan's finest have a huge variety of army entries with which to bring death to the Emperor's foes, no less than seven of which can be made from the Grey Knights multi-part plastic box sets. Featured below are some of the myriad options available to a budding Grey Knights player.

Flexible Fighters
A Strike Squad is a Troops choice and the nearest thing to a standard squad as can be found in such an elite army. They can perform any battlefield role to the highest standard, and their generous equipment options perfectly augment the squad's flexibility. An Interceptor Squad is another versatile squad, but to a more extreme degree than the Strike Squad. Equipped with personal teleporters, an Interceptor Squad can be used to launch an all-out assault on an enemy position, or counter-attack, using a teleport shunt to launch into the thick of the fighting. Both squads can use their Hammerhand psychic power to increase their strength in combat, or Warp Quake to disrupt the arrival of enemy reinforcements.
Attack & Defence
The bane of large enemy squads, the piety of a Purifier Squad is such that they can unleash Cleansing Flame, smiting their enemies with a wave of pure psychic energy. Those that survive are no match for the righteous fury of these deadly warriors. By contrast, the Purgation Squad is the last say in heavy firepower. With the ability to field four heavy weapons and even engage targets that are out of their line of sight with the Astral Aim psychic power, none are safe from their wrath.

Tactical Dreadnought Armour
Such are the vast resources made available to the Grey Knights, that Terminator armour is widespread throughout the Chapter. As such, Terminator Squads are Troops choices in the army, and have access to a huge variety of equipment with which to bring death to their enemies. Paladins are the champions of the Chapter, each a hero in his own right. These indomitable warriors have 2 Wounds each, and one member of the squad can even be upgraded to an Apothecary, giving the squad Feel no Pain and making them all but unstoppable.
Leading from the Front
As one would expect of the mightiest Space Marines in the galaxy, the leaders of the Grey Knights are true heroes of legend. Be they Brotherhood Champions, Brother-Captains or Grand Masters, they are all consummate warriors and highly capable battlefield commanders. Any of these HQ choices will serve you well in battle, but if you want to try a subtler approach, why not field a Grey Knight Librarian and unleash your psychic might on the enemies of Mankind?

One Man Army
If the Grey Knights are too few in number to fight a particularly large and powerful Daemon of the Warp without suffering heavy losses, then they will look to a Nemesis Dreadknight to even the odds. The pilot's Dark Excommunication psychic power can temporarily nullify his target's Daemonic Gifts, allowing him to strike the killing blow whilst his opponent is vulnerable. Its powerful weaponry will happily tear through any enemy army, both at range and in assault. As a 4-Wound Monstrous Creature with the same save as a Terminator armour, the Nemesis Dreadknight's adamantium-alloy skeleton also lends it incredible durability.
Armoured Assault
The Grey Knights have access to some of the most advanced resources, and their vehicle armoury is no exception with Dreadnoughts, Rhinos, Land Raiders, Stormraven Gunships at their disposal. As the pilots are Grey Knights, they can summon their Fortitude psychic power to recover from the effects of Crew Shaken and Crew Stunned vehicle damage results.

Dread does look incredibly crap. IMO.

Some of the rules they have put up also sound horrible.

2+ / 5++ 2 Wounds AND FNP if an Apothecary is taken for Paladins. Weight of fire will bring these down but holy cow, that is tough!

Warding Stave - 2++ in combat!!?!!?!
