This great, I've been waiting for it. Are there and plans/possibility of selling each section as it's own bundle, I know you can buy the components separately, but it generally works out more expensive to do so (as in buying all the bits to make a Quad gun on trailer is more expensive than just buying the 'Anti-Air Cannon' set). I only ask as I'm thinking of getting a few.

Just a query, thanks.

Nice work there, Curtis! Your stuff is continuing to improve nicely, but still retains a character all it's own.

Curtis, I had issues with an order.. back when you were changing locations. Back then you said you'd send out the parts after the move but I never heard back afterward.

You were supposed to send 3x

but instead sent 3x

Sorry for the mistake MLaw. Please email me with your postal address at curtis@ramshacklegames.co.uk and I will send you some free models along with the RIGHT PARTS! Maybe some of these robots as an apology?

I have just launched a new Kickstarter project, to get some resin robots made. The models are multi-part, and once assembled stand over 40mm tall. The pledge levels are £10 for 1 robot, £25 for 3 robots or £35 for 5 robots. The project is running for 30 days as of today, the 24th of April.

The project has already funded. I launched it, then did publicity by sending out emails to news sites, sending out newsletters to my subscribers, then previous KS backers. Now I am visiting all my favourite forums to post up about it. In the time it has taken to do this (and have a coffee break!) the project has fully funded. Hurrah!

Please follow the link below to be taken to the project on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179741323/ramshackle-robots

Howdy All,

Glad I stumbled across this thread.... been looking through your website for the last few days and have my eye on a couple of bits and bobs to be ordering soon for a couple of scratch builds I have on the go...

Really nice models by the way and really love the aesthetic of the tanks in particular!

Cheers,

As my father once said to me : You cant polish a turd... but you can roll it in glitter!

I just sent an e-mail. Not sure if it's the same email I ordered from originally but it's got my address etc.

These new robots look interesting. If they're a few inches tall they could add some interesting objectives or opponents in missions.

A Couple of people above have asked how tall they are, when half the pics he posted have them next to a ruler...

They measure about 40mm to the top of the shoulders, but the heads and backpack vents make them taller, depending on which ones it has.

Looking again, there really needs to be a set of bulky legs. Look at Armored Corps games to get a sense for what I mean. In that series you could pick from a variety of size, weight, design, etc.. would be good inspiration for future releases for these guys IMO

why thank you for that insight .... but for my own interest the angle of the pics was at an odd one and i liked to know exactly... my eyes usuallly are of good use...so the ruler standing next to the models i was aware of...

cheers, vik

In the images with the rulers, I have put the model as close as I could to the shoulder or arm of the robot. It does give a good size reading, except that the ruler is touching the floor. This means that the base thickness is added to the height measurement. This is about 2mm, so the models range from the Daoist Drone being about 42mm tall, and Trevor being 55mm to the top of the exhaust pipes.

I put some money in on this last night. I'm curious if the claw arm can be used for either arm, or if it can only be mounted to one side?

There is a separate peg for the claw arm that works as the shoulder joint. the claw is symmetrical, and you can then glue the peg on either side and so mount the arms whichever way you want, or two on the same bot.

I also have another robot that I am working on to use the dog style legs. I hope to get it done for this campaign.

Hi mate,

Awesome looking robots! Just placed an order for some bits and bobs from your website.... some tank crew, tank details and a gun unit.... some really cool looking stuff you got.

Will certainly look to back the KS when payday rolls around!
