Years ago a buddy gave me a bunch of vehicle bits including the chassis and tracks from a MKI rhino. I wanted to beef it up to be on par with the MKII so I added some width.
I used a patoroch template and cut the dozer blade parts out of copper circuit board.

I still have a lot of detail work to do. I will post more as I near completion. Comments?

You really should have used plasticard instead of green stuff for the hull of the repressor. That stuff will never look really straight or even.

Agree about the green stuff, shame as the rest of the model is coming along treats. Maybe you can cover the GS with some thin card?

Big Kudos on the Dozer Blade though! (may even swipe the design!)

Need more 's in my life!

I like the dozer blades. I think you definately achieved your objective to add 'beef' to this model, nice work

Ok so I have to agree with everybody, GS did not give me very straight edges

So I tore it down and went back to the drawing board]
So here is my repressor chassis, waiting for details....

Raising the dead... time to show some progress...
This is my chaotic twist on a Repressor built from a MK1 chassis

I plan to put more details on, such as the drivers view ports, some skull/spiky bits and smoke stacks.

looking for suggestions and constructive criticism.

Looking good. I'm not sure the spikes really add anything to be honest.
Are you using cardboard? It looked almost like balsa wood in some of the previous pictures.
For future reference Brown Stuff is easier to file down then Green Stuff, you might find it better for this sort of gap filling.

Thanks, its mainly copper circuit board i scavenged from work. i built it up with wood from a craft store to make it wider. I have since picked up a tube of squadron green which is a lot easier for gaps...

It took you almost five years to get this primed?!

It looks really good, and it gets great mileage out of an older kit. I'm still surprised no one has bothered to make a Repressor-esque conversion kit seeing as how FW dropped the original from their catalog.

Ha ha... you noticed? Actually primed it a couple years back. I just remember that I never updated the thread.

Nice work.

Here's mine: Not so much repressor as "command rhino" for my Star Wars themed 501st legion marines.

All plasticard on top of a rhino ('nid skull is a trophy). It gained a dozer blade after this shot (and I found the storm bolter I'd lost for the little turret). The top pintle mount is magnetised though and can take a flamer if I wanted to swap it out.

That said, it's over 5 years since I made that - and it and a handful of other models are all I have left of my 40k since I stopped engaging in the arms race of that game.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
