That is an amazing looking army. Well done.
It looks like you have a little bit of everything and should be able to make a pretty good list from those models. My only suggestion would be to arm the saurus with spears and maybe some temple guard for your slann.

Hey man - great looking army. Its very cohesive.
You have some choices to make - but I think if you are going to be any bigger sized battles you probably want to invest in more core. Either a bunch of Saurus (both HW/shield and spears are good at different times) or a whole bunch more javelin skinks w/ shields to rank&file up with some of those Kroxigors in support. A unit of 6 krox would hit hard - but 2 units of 30 skinks with 3 krox in each can absorb more casualties and get into combat (still w/ poison .
Other than the core I might get some cold one scar vets as I like running them mounted.
Enjoy!

Stunning work man, top notch.
I'd definitely suggest more Saurus, as 8th edition really makes you focus more on your infantry choices. Big blocks are the way to go, especially if you have a Slaan using Lore of Life to Regrowth back any casualties. I've also taken a liking to R&F Skinks with javelins. Poisoned attacks and a saving throw (a rare thing for Skinks) with good movement is a useful tool. And a big unit of TG for your Hypnotoad to operate in is a must.
Other than that, keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more from you.

Great looking army!
It's probably best to keep things general on the advice, given how long you've been away from the game. Your Slann is one of the best casters in the game (particularly when he has Mystery and Rumination). He selects a lore that supports the rest of the army (often Life or Light) while Saurus blocks hit hard, skinks (of all varieties) poison and redirect, and salamanders punish large blocks of troops.
The rest of the units mostly fill in the cracks around those core elements from what I've seen.

From what I can make out, you've got:
-Slann
-Skink characters (priest with cloak of feathers is awesome with a slann!)
-2 Stegadons (one is a character EoTG / swappable for skink chief?)
-2 units of Skinks
-1 unit of Chameleon Skinks
-1 unit of Saurus
-1 unit of Cold Ones
-1 unit of Kroxigors
-1 unit of Terradons
-3 Salamanders
This looks to me to be a great mix of units, which can make your list different from the "standard" lizardmen power lists, while still taking advantage of some of the most powerful elements.
Things you have that fit in the standard "power" category:
Slann, Skinks, Chameleon Skinks, Salamanders
Things you have that fit in the "awesome but not auto-include" category:
Terradons, Kroxigors, Stegadons
Things you have to take to meet minimum % requirements:
Saurus
I think a block of Saurus, supported by a block of 8 Kroxigors, can give you a very strong center if you play them well, and buff them with your lore of life slann.
The Salamanders and Skinks will give you lots of damage-causing potential (skinks against low-armor targets, salamanders against high-armor ones).
I would include a stegadon or two, but note that they are vulnerable to cannon-fire. The slann can use the lore attribute for lore of life to add wounds back onto them, after casting a spell. My personal favorite stegadon is a skink chief with stegadon war spear- it hits like a ton of bricks!!!
The Cold One Cavalry also hit very hard in the right situations for a counter-charge. And you've got the terradons and skink priest with cloak of feathers to fly around and harrass things, with skinks as well of course.
Overall, a great group of models and if you could list out exactly what you have, I will make a list for you probably for 2500 as that is in practicality what level you will play at, 3K is done at times but is rare since the allowable units change.

Alright, here's my attempt at a list:
Slann, Lore of Life - 550
BSB
Focused Rumination
Focus of Mystery
Becalming Cogitation
Higher State
Power Scroll
Obsidian Amulet
Healing Potion
Skink Priest, Lvl 2, Cloak of Feathers, Dispel Scroll - 150
20 Saurus, Full Command - 250
10 Skink Skirmishers - 70
10 Skink Skirmishers - 70
10 Skinks, Mus, Std, 1 Kroxigor - 119
10 Skinks, Mus, Std, 1 Kroxigor - 119
6 Kroxigors - 330
3 Terradon Riders - 90
5 Chameleon Skinks, Stalker - 66
5 Cold One Cavalry, Mus - 185
Ancient Stegadon - 275
2 Salamanders - 150
Salamander - 75
Total - 2499
The slann has a discipline that only lets him be hurt by magical attacks, and an item to increase his magical resistance to 2, making his ward save vs. magical attacks a 2+. He also has healing potion (regain d6 wounds) and a power scroll (rolling any double will cast with irresistible force, for a single casting attempt).
One stegadon isn't used, but since it's the older style it might be nice to leave it out, anyway. If you could think of a way to add spears to your saurus (perhaps strap them to their backs?) you could change the ancient stegadon for a regular steg, and get the spears upgrade for the saurus and a banner for the cold one cavalry.
I had really wanted to fit my favorite combination, the skink chief with stegadon warspear on ancient stegadon, in there... but it's a bit of a points sink and possibly a liability with all of the cannons around now!
Also note that for your core (the saurus and skinks) what I have listed is 628 points... you need 25% in core, so you'll pretty much need to keep all of that in there, even though the units are a little odd.
Hope this helps

Glad you like it I was rather proud of it . You seem to have just enough models in the core category to field an army of this size!
Another option for the list would be to drop the skink priest in favor of a scar veteran, to add a bit more punch to that saurus block
You could also combine the skinks + kroxigor units into a single large one (and upgrade to a brave for each of the skirmisher units, in order to stay about 25%... works out to 626!). It's going to have trouble, but if you buff it up with lore of life even that unit can hold its own. Having a single unit lets you buff it more effectively... and larger units (for combat) tend to do better in 8th edition! The blowgun skirmishing skinks will do best at 10, though.
So your core would then be:
20 Saurus, Full Command - 250
20 Skinks, Mus, Std, 2 Kroxigors - 224
10 Skink Skirmishers, Brave - 76
10 Skink Skirmishers, Brave - 76
Which would make the total for the army 2497

Could you put a 3rd Kroxigor into that skink unit? That would leave only 5 in the special unit and I don't know how negatively that would affect them. You could also then cut out some of the little extras and go with that scar veteran RiTides suggested to give your saurus block more pop.

The Paint Scheme for the Lizards is basically you just use the orange, give it a wash with a gryphonia sepia ink or Devlan mud, then paint over the raised surfaces with the orange and highlight by adding a little ivory to the orange, I actually started with a Plasticote Matt Spray called Butterscotch Caramel 3106. However there is a Vallejo paint called Light Brown 929 which is a very similar orange. That would work fine and it's what I use for touchups. The blue is Vallejo Light Turquoise Inked with the Green is Vallejo Green Sky...
Rocks are done by painting them black, Codex Grey Drybrush then Astronomican Grey light drybrush over the top. Use a green ink round the bottom of the rocks to blend them in.
The water areas is Dark Angels Green nearly up to the edges of the land. (You use sand for the bases) Add a little tan yellow to the Dark Angels green and cover most of the surface. Bit more tan yellow in the deeper areas. Use a yacht varnish over the surface of the water and it's a glossy finish. The sand is first painted with Foundation Orchide Shade, Goblin Green Drybrush then Vallejo Tan Yellow top drybrush. The Gold is Vallejo Brass. Scales, Teeth and Claws are Vallejo Pale Greyblue.

I believe you need 8 skinks per kroxigor, so he would need to have 24 to get a 3rd kroxigor.
How many handlers are there for the salamanders? You might be able to borrow a few from there to get up to 24 (if you only included 2 salamanders in the list)
It does look fantastic . So, any plans to buy the books and start playing with this beautiful army?

Excellent! In that case, you could just drop one salamander if you want to run 3 kroxigors in the skink unit. A good option to have although I'd want another kroxigor in their own unit to keep them at 6.
Either way, you definitely have enough to get started with! If you end up adding something, I'd get more saurus (or skink skirmishers) so that you don't have to have those ranked skinks in your core. It can work if you buff them, though! Let us know when you get to try them out in a game

I usually get a large number to shoot for, and then play with things subbing in and out for the lower point levels. With my wood elves I would have more standard lists since I had less options, but with my troll/ogre army for WoC I tend to swap things around quite a bit
