It's officially time again to announce the date for the fourth Battle for Stones River Tournament! A tournament to commemorate the Battle For Stone's River in Murfreesboro, TN in 1863. Brought to you proudly by the Istvaanian Sect.

The magic date is February 26th 2011. The location will remain at the Tennessee Technology Center here in Murfreesboro. The tournament registration will begin at 8:30. This is a Warhammer 40,000 tournament with the points limit set at 1863. The tournament will last four rounds, ending at approximately 7:00 P.M. Lunch will be provided again this year (stay tuned for details).

Registration will begin January 1st 2011 and the entry cost will be $25.00. Same price as last year (no inflation here). Contact Grand Adventures for information and registration (615-867-0838). There will be 50 spots available, first come first serve.

This year the plans are even bigger and better than last year! We have more awesome prizes to give away and of course cool GW stuff to boot! Watch this thread as we concrete in more details for guests and other things.

Once again we will post six scenarios for you to practice, of which four will be used the day of the tournament. Don't miss out on one of the best tournaments of the year! Get your armies ready!

A few shots from last year...

Each row of tables has a river running it's length (don't worry, there are plenty of bridges/fords) and some of the missions are built around them. In keeping with the Stone's River theme.

Easily one of the best tourney's in the state. Lots of fun, unique missions and a rarity a themed tourney. All of the boards have a river in them. If you live close or want a good unique tourney to have some fun then this is the tourney.

When in doubt.........Duck!

Even in the far future there can still be heroes...

You can talk to anyone that has attended and they will all tell you how much fun you'll have. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me or post here. I will try to check the forum as much as my wife and kid allow... Hope everyone had a great holiday.
