My attempts to make competitive or well playing lists have failed so I figured I'll make something full of stuff I've tried and liked and just have fun with it.

I think this would do marvelously.. or horribly. One of the two

I can picture nothing but Trygons and Swarmlord and crew with Hive Guards and Zoanthropes marching upfield, and all the genestealers just.. appearing.. or whatever Anyways, with the limited amount of required Synapse, why not drop prime on one of the Trygons and give your Zoanthropes a SPOD? Otherwise.. looks fun Hope ya have fun with it

Thanks, I was also considering swapping a Trygon prime for a mawloc. The mawloc has my favorite ability of any tyranid unit and with any luck would not scatter far from the trygon prime, thus giving it synapse. Or even dropping all stealers to 10 per sqaud and bringing 3 mawlocs

That may actually be the best way to run Mawlocs.. burrow them all first turn and them pop them all up at the same time, so the enemy cant just kill them all instantly.. hmm..

hehe it would be fun to have them do that i think Ill bring 3 mawlocs

Swarmlord is costing a packet of points, nearly 1/4 of your points!!!

I'd drop the Zoanthropes as they have no Pod anyway and get another Guard unit, more shots closer range and you don't need synapse.

'Stealers are cool.

Trygons I like, but again you don't need Primes, really. I love Trygons don't get me wrong, but perhaps Tyrannofexes for ranged attack which you'll need to get the 'Stealers into combat along with ol' Swarmy.

Looks like a fun list if nothing else. You can drop the primes to standard trygons really. You will not need synapse for the stealers and the guard can easily stay around the swarmlord and advance with him. With those 80 points you can pod your zoans.
