These are from Copplestone Casting's Future Wars range. I always thought they would fit the bill as an IG army. Also they have female troopers that look female!

first photo: the one on the right is awesome. I want that model, man.
But i'd rather use these models for Necromunda, than a Guard army.

I got a bunch of these guys when they were fresh on the scene back in the 90s. Still have some in my rpg miniatures case (for SF/Cyberpunk games). I think I used many as my "imperial army" figs in RT days as well, though.
Always liked Copplestone's stuff.

Those are some classic figures there, I have a few of them.
The only issue is they are closer to 25mm while GW is 28-32mm. They do look like teenagers next to GW IG and GW weapons are a bit too big on them. I was able to use plasma pistols as plasma guns.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood. |

I really like copplestone castings The guy with the furry hat is from their scav line, isn't he? You've made him fit in really well!
Their 10mm 'giant wolves' make great regular-sized wolves for 28mm models too.

Their size might be a benefit if you want conscripts. Perhaps a refiment is so desperate it lowered he conscription age.

I like the models, though it doesn't look like it would be easy to chop out the guns and replace with lasguns.
If they were used as conscripts/penal legions it might not be an issue.

Call them autoguns.
In the last 40k edition to use them, they had the same stats as lasguns. EXACTLY the same stats.
Some peeps have no 'magination anymores.
