Hello Dakka

I’ve been trying to work out what paints and dyes the guy who painted these Dire Wolves used so I can get a similar result on my own ones, but so far I’ve had little success. If any of you could tell what you think he used I’d be very grateful

hmm. That is tough. I think the lightest color on the wolves though looks like some combinaiton using elf flesh as the primary color and mixing some ratio of one of these other colors: Bleached bone, Bubonic brown, Vomit brown, Snakebite Leather. The mane just looks like a mixture of chaos black, codex grey, fortress grey -- possibly blended. Best of luck!

Well I tried looking at the pics in your profile, but none of them give me the option to zoom in closely. My best guess would be to start with Dark Flesh ( a redish brown color) and work from there, maybe adding scorched brown and blood red. I definately think the base color of the outer derma layer is definately made up of mostly elf flesh though...maybe start with a 2:1 ratio mix of Elf flesh/bronzed flesh and work from that.

Those models just look downright nasty!
