I am sorry this is so late in coming, but I just spent 8 days in the hospital with a massive staph infection that almost cost me my leg.

Branden McComber , AKA Shadowbrand and I have a bit of a history. Last year we were in the middle of a trade and he didn't come through on his end by sending me destroyed models and some just missing in the package he sent. To make up for the mistakes, he promised me a new Dreadnought to make up for the part of his deal he could not cover.

Well we come to a few months ago, and I forgot we had unfinished business. I put up an add looking for WoC models and he says he has most of an army:

11 Warriors with paired weapons
Army Book
5 Knights on horseback
10 Warhounds
1 Chaos Lord on Horseback...

In exchange I promised a dreadnought, some dire wolves and a couple units of dwarfs. I told him because of our past dealings, I would not ship until I was sure I got everything.

He kept sending polite messages asking if I got them over, and over, but no package and here it is 2 months later and nothing. At one point he got aggravated with me and stated that HE paid 50 dollars on shipping from Canada and that he had a 'contact' at the post office who assured him the package was in the states, but three times I asked for proof of shipping or a name of the 'contact' and he refused to reply to the requests.

If HE paid 50 dollars shipping from Canada, then he should have international shipping and tracking on that package and yet he cannot prove he sent it or where it went.

After a phone call to his home I reach his father who tells me that HE sent the package and not Branden. This made me angrier about the situation.

I messaged Banden and informed him that I would go to the post office and file fraud charges if this wasn't corrected soon. The last message I got from him before I ended up in the hospital, accuses me of receiving the package and tells me to 'go ahead and charge me', that he refused to do anything about the missing models.

I am glad I didn't ship anything, so I lost nothing, but he did not come through with getting me the models he promised.

I hate to do this more than anything, but Dakka is a place of fair trading with people from all over the world, and it doesn't need immature traders who make promises they cannot keep and have to lie to other traders during their deals.

So his father had the tracking paperwork then? Receipts?

If he did, he didn't volunteer any of that information to me, he asked that I talk to Branden about it.

From my understanding with the USPS, tracking information for packages sent international is not possible. I can only surmise that this would also apply to packages from other countries. Although a receipt should be possible, unless the shipper was not informed to save said receipt.

This is only true of packages sent through the post office. Packages sent through couriers such as DHL or UPS have international tracking.

Packages sent through the post office have international tracking here in Canada, and I can't think of anyway he could have mailed your package for $50...it just doesn't cost that much to ship stuff...unless he was doing 2 day delivery in a heavy ass box...

From my experience, there's no way you can spend $50 to ship between Canada and the US without getting delivery confirmation.

While they don't track normal small packages outside of Canada, a tracking number would, at the very least, show when the package entered the US, and delivery confirmation would show when it was delivered, or failed to be delivered.

7 More months and he simply refuses to answer the phone, emails or PMs. I guess I won't ever see that army.

So he offered WoC and you offered Dwarfs. You never received a package and you never sent one.

As far as I can tell, there is no trade or transaction underlying this "report."
