Thought of this during physics class:

Mephiston 250

Sanguinor 275

2x Sanguinary Priest, 2x jump pack 150

3 Death Company, Jump packs, Lemartes 255

10 man assault squad, 2x melta, PF 235

10 man assault squad, 2x melta 210

5 man assault squad, melta, infernus 125

5 man assault squad, melta, infernus 125

5 man assault squad, melta, infernus 125

= 1750

Charge everything forward, hope you win. Yeah. Use your three über characters to kill a unit each per turn, hope you dont end up facing mech or you will have difficulties. Lemartes is surprisingly killy (he's better than Mephiston or Sanguinor at killing < ws5 & < t5 Shame you cant control him. Oh well.

If needed you can DoA everything except Mephiston, but he's fine alone =)

Usually the 5 man assault squads are better off dropping in to kill armor, while the priests hang with the bigger squads (but preferably near Meph and Sang to give them FnP too). Obviously this all depends on opposition.

Dawn of War is great fun, you can stick either Meph or Sang + Lemartes in midfield straight away.

Thoughts?

I'm going to have to admit Jabbo this is pretty poor for you. Usually you come up with some very interesting builds, but with this you've let me down like a cheap pair of tights.

Firstly your HQs are sucking loads of points - over 1/4 of this list on two models which aren't even I.Cs! Blast them until they've gone and easy kill points.

So you want to pay 255 points for 4 models of Death Company? That's almost 64 points each. I'm sure you can get a normal Chaplain for cheaper than Lemartes, you really want Death Co get one of those, but don't expect them to last long or failing that they'll be herded around the board like sheep thanks to rage.

I really cannot see those 5 man Assault Squad lasting long. Only Mephiston can keep them going with shield power.

Except Meph doesnt have shield

Yeah, this list is pretty crap. Had a good laugh about Lemartes today with a couple of friends

I'll put something up later today most likely, maybe a dread list, I've been thinking about one of those.
