Hi all. Going to start Skaven with my Christmas monies, as I found a Battalion box set in my cupboard relatively untouched, and I've always loved the Skryre guys. So with that theme in mind I've been putting together the majority of a 3000 point Skaven list, and would appreciate any general pointers on how I might improve/finish it:

drop the Jezzails, they cant do much with BS3. Get blocks of slaves, 50 slaves strong can really tarpit a unit down and aid your rares. A HPA is another good addition. Weapon teams should be added to the clanrats. Anything but the ratling is good. Maybe up the level of the warlocks to level 2.

Slaves sound good. Probably quite fitting for a Skryre theme, too! Jezzails look good vs Knights and other small armoured units - but having played Guard I know BS3 sucks.

I'd drop the Storm Banner on the BSB to give him a 4+ Ward.

Jezzails aren't what they used to be, but you could try 'em. I'd go with some Globadiers, maybe with a Mortar attached to one. And a Bombardier with a Death Globe on the other.

The Doom Rocket is a silly device, and it is essentially a must.

If you want to stay mostly Skryre, I'd keep the Wheels and forget about the A-bomb. They should do fine.

Most people will go with Warpfire Throwers for their teams, though the Mortar is still good. The Doom Flayer is fun against lower I armies, and the Ratling Gun is solid (not as good as the other two, but 10 points cheaper).

If you want to be devious, I'd suggest a naked Engineer joined with each weapon team, effectively doubling it's survivability for 15 points.
