I thought it would be fun to have a sword on a dwarf. I know its not "fluffy" but why not. Let me know what you guys think. Automatically Appended Next Post: any comments?

I'm afraid I don't quite know what you're asking for. Comments on which weapon looks better, modelling, painting, etc. Personally, I'd go with the axe. I find it hard to picture dwarves with swords.

Dwarves dont use swords, thats for sissy girls and beardless men.
but hey your choice. I would use the axe you got pictured as the sword you have in the middle looks way too samurai like the other sword would make you look too Empireish.
What is your plan with this guy? What is your armies theme?

Can we see a pic with it on? Right now about all you'll get are opinions on whether Dwarfs would use a sword or not.
I imagine you could come up with a fluff reason- it was the weapon gifted to him by a human to whom he owed an unfulfilled oath, perhaps.

Didn't the Dwarfs forge all the Runefangs. I don't think they really have problems with swords.
Some of my favourite old Citadel and Marauder Dwarves had two handed swords.
