I see some issues with the list and I plan on play testing it quite a bit. Critique and criticism welcome!

I'm not so sure I understand the reason for the structure of this list. It looks to me like you are paying extra points to turn Wolf Guard into scoring units when you would simply be better off taking Grey Hunters in their place. The only difference between those Wolf Guard packs and Grey Hunters is the CML Terminators. I think you could easily get as much firepower ditching Logan and taking another Land Speeder Typhoon, then have enough points left over for Razorbacks for your Long Fangs, a second Rune Priest, and a pack of Wolf Guard to serve as Pack Leaders for all of your Grey Hunters.

I assume you intend to run Logan with the Lascannon Long Fangs to make them Strength 10? I'm honestly not sure how viable that tactic is for the cost invested in the unit and Logan himself. I really think you would just be better off with a more standard Razorspam or Gun Line list.

Damn. This makes so much sense I don't know what I am doing. You are correct. I could achieve the same thing, except for the long range anti av14 capability.

I will take a look at my list again. I guess this is what I get for not even looking at 40k for 7 months...

Thats 12 AV 11/11/10 vehicles and 3 AV 10/10/10 vehicles with 21 Missile Launchers, 12 Lascannons, 12 TL Plasma Guns, 6 Meltaguns, 8 Combi-Meltas and 2x Living Lightning. Plus most of your list has cover in open ground, and your Wolf Guard packs can be used for suicide attacks on high armor vehicles, and to clog up the field a bit. You might even replace their LasPlas turrets with Assault Cannon turrets which are far better at close range should you decide to run them that way.

All told the list has tons of firepower, mobility and durability. In Dawn of War the Rune Priests join the Grey Hunters and drive onto the field. In any other mission they set up with the Long Fangs and blast things with Living Lightning. The one problem with this style of play is that you hemorrhage kill points. The 2k list has 28 and the 2,500 point list as 29. That's more than most Imperial Guard lists! The firepower is generally worth it though as long as you don't run up against something absurd that can pop all of your vehicles before you can pop theirs.

Well I wasn't going to go with a full max overdrive list. I edited my list and I don't know if you had a chance to look at that before your response.

I think if I did go all out and follow your second list, the only changes I would make are:

Swap out the las/plas to assault cannons on the WG razorbacks as you suggested. Drop the MB on the rune priest and give the 3rd WG a combi-melta.

I would also think that I would prefer flamers with the GH squads, but I would have to playtest it out.

However, I think at most I will go for my 2nd list. The advantage of the first list is I just need a speeder to fill it out. Lots cheaper!

You can drop the Meltabombs on that Rune Priest, but you would need to give him a Bolter instead of a Bolt Pistol to differentiate him from the first one. They cannot have identical Wargear.

Take the CML guy out of the pod unit. That guy alone is 63 points and not gonna add much to the suicide melta drop. Drop one of the three 10 man rhino squads down to another 5 man squad in razorback, and use the points from that and the CML to take another unit. Could be whatever you have available to avoid adding to the models you have to buy, but another source of damage output could be added to the list pretty easily.

The termie cml doesn't go with the suicide melta. He breaks off and joins a LF squad.
