Yesterday, monthly RTT, 8 players, 3 games (20 pts per game), standard missions (14 pts) with 2ndary missions (6 pts).
My mech Eldar army ruled the skies:

Farseer w/ both runes, fortunes
10 Warlocks w/ embolden x2, enhance
Serpent w/ stones, sc

5 Fire Dragons w/ Serpent w/ stones, sc
5 Fire Dragons
6 Harlies w/ kisses

2x 10 DA w/ Exarch w/ bladestorm, Serpent w/ stones, sl
10 Storm Guardians w/ flamer x2, Serpent w/ stones, sc

2x Falcon w/ hf, stones, sc x2

First game vs. semi-mech Eldar (2 WL w/ eml's, 3x 8 Warpspiders w/ Exarchs incl. Autarch, Yriel, Scorpions incl. Exarch w/ scorpion claws, stalker, 2x DA (plain) in Serpents, Storm Guardians (flamers) in Serpent, single Prism).
Three objectives (one in the centre), DoW deployment.

My army stayed in reserve. His Scorpions w/ Yriel occupied the centre piece of terrain. In turn 3, my Harlies and the Storm Guardians managed to charge them. All Scorpions died but Yriel (using eye of wrath) stayed alive for a round and then died. Then the centre was free to occupy by my Council taking down a WL. All Warp Spider units got wiped out, one by bladestorming DA and one by shooting and FDs, FDs also killed one Serpent and the Prism.
At the end, I claimed 2 objectives and contested 1, secondary was killing HQ, I managed to kill his Autarchs, so I got 6 pts.
it was a 16-4 game.

Second game vs. Nids (Hive Tyrant w/ 2 Guard, Alpha Warrior, 2x 3 Hive Guard, Nemesis w/ Pod, 2 Tervigons, 1x shooty Gaunts, 1x cc Gaunts, 2x Genestealers, Trygon).
KP mission, pitched battle. Nids deployed mostly in the centre, behind a large centre piece. I deployed (in response) in one corner.

Skimmers approached constantly shooting the units in range. Hive Guard managed to kill the fortuned Serpent of the Council. Too bad. But the Council, Farseer plus 4 Warlocks rallied and killed the arriving Nemesis and the Pod in which the Nemesis arrived. At the same time, the Storm Guardians killed a small Gaunt brood in a building nearby.
At the end, Nids lost 5 units (Genestealers, Hive Guard, Gaunts, Nemesis of whatnot, and Pod).
Secondary mission was occupying quarters via VPs, I claimed three quarters.
It was a 20 - 0.

Last game vs. new DE (Archon, 2 or 3 Haemies, 5 Incubi, 1x10 Warriors, 4x10 Wyches incl. Hekatrix w/ agonizer, all in Raiders, 3 Ravagers one with DLs, two with DIS, 10 Hellions incl. Helliarch w/agonizer).
5 mission objectives (one in the centre), spearhead deployment.
DE started the game and my army stayed in reserve.
DE rolled a 6 for drugs such that all units on drugs got a pain marker. Come on, this is unfair!

This time my army arrived in pieces, DA Serpent and Harlie Falcon in round 2, DA Serpent in round 3, and the rest in round 4. Men, this was frustrating.
The Raiders and Ravagers seemed to be all over the place. Moreover, DE occupied four objectives before my forces arrived, only the objective in my home zone was unoccupied.
I got a bit nervous after seeing this. The arriving Serpent and Falcon (turn 2) downed one Ravager (that one with DLs) and one (empty) Raider.
In return, the Falcon got shot down, but not blown up. Dirty DE bastards!
The Hellions were already close to my skimmers. The Harlies from the downed Falcon charged them and failed badly, killing 1, while the Hellions killed 4. Dead Harlies. Oh man, I go home. The arriving DA Serpent and the other DA Serpent downed two further (empty) Raiders.
The annoying Hellions charged one Serpent but couldn't glance or penetrate it. DE shooting (vs. my skimmers) went bad from here on.
Next turn, the rest of my forces arrived (2x FDs, Council, Storm Guardians). FDs downed two Raiders, transports (Falcon, Serpent) another two, all empty. Council's Serpent boosted into the enemy home zone. The situation started to get grim for DE.
Hellions now got killed by flaming Storm Guardians and bladestorming DAs, while the other bladestorming DAs took on a Wych unit deployed on an objective in cover. Wyches survived and killed the DA unit one turn later. Okay I got it.
In round 5, the FD units got wiped out by Ravager w/ DIS and Archon and Incubi, staying behind in a Raider all the time. Close nearby, the Council wiped out a Warrior unit occupying an objective.
At the end, round 5, the Storm Guardians occupyied the objective in my home zone, two objecives were unoccupied, while my skimmers contested the other two.
It was a 13 - 7 win. Happy end! The truthful should win such a battle as in every good movie.

Final standing:
1. mech Eldar - 49 pts from 60 pts
2. DE - 37 pts
3. Nids
4. SW
5. Nids
6. Eldar
7. SM
8. IG

Cheers! Nobody was able to stand my 4th ed. mech Eldar army. Lol.

Congrats on your win. Not easy to come out on top in any tournament, even if it is only 8 players.

Nice one! I like your Mechdar list, I am putting together one that has a lot of the same units.

I like the short batreps, makes it so much easier to read. Could you get your opponent's lists next time? It helps to visualize whats happening when you know what they other army is composed of.

Congrats on the victory!

I like your list quite a bit, and it seems like you played well. But why did that DE opponent have so few darklances at that point level? no wonder he lost that close game to you, he needed a lot more anti-tank.

Anyway, cool batrep and grats on the win.

Thanks for the replies. Our monthly RTTs are usually 8 to 10 players or so.
About the list, I posted the lists for semi-mech Eldar and DE, but not for Nids, forgot his full list.
The DE opponent had 2 Ravagers with disintegrators against infantry.
It seemed that these skimmers were really helpful vs. his first opponent, SW,
which ended by a draw.

In a MEQ heavy meta-game, I could see how disentagrator ravagers could be very effective, but I would think he would have tried to make up for that by having AT in other places, like Blaster wielding Trueborn or Scourges or something, he just seemed really low in that department.
But hey, he took second, so he did fine imo.

In fact, the DE player did fine. But he was complaining about the performance of the Wyches. One unit charged some Grey Hunters and got taken down - quite obvious if you ask me when the GH have 3 attacks per model.

Do you know what wych weapons he was using with them? Regardless, Wychs do have a hard time with meqs, as they can't kill them terribly easily and will get worn away over time, especially when those meqs are Grey Knights. I like wyches, but they aren't really a CC powerhouse unit, just a decent quick CC unit that is resilient in fights against other armies heavy hitters. So far, my favorite troop choice in DE are Wracks. They are more effective in CC most of the time then wyches, and more resiliant to foes without powerweapons. Also better against shooting, and bring the awesome liquifier guns.

Anyway, enough talk about the Dark cousins, for you have won the day!

lol good job with the 4th ed army!! I did something similar w/ tau recently. Unfortunately I had to leave the tourney after 2 games. My 41 points after two games was leading the tourney, and would have done great considering the 2nd place winner had 43!!!

Thanks, guys!
The Wyches were led by a Hekatrix but had no other upgrades.
I prefer Wracks too but haven't played an RTT with the new DE.

Got now a bit more information about the Nids list, see original post.
