Is green stuff the same as milliput? Have been using milliput for bases, however trying to do small detailed parts is tricky, is it easier with the green stuff. For example in pic i have put a power sword on this model and need to blend them together better. Thanks for any help

Sounds like you already know the answer to your own question = no, they are different. Milliputt works like clay and is great for smoothing pieces together (filling gaps), and greenstuff works more like wax. I'm sure there are people who can do anything they want with one or the other, but professional mini sculptors seem to use different media for different parts of their sculpts. For example, brownstuff is often used for the hard edges of swords and so forth, even if the rest of the sculpt is done with greenstuff. I just started using milliputt, so I am a lot more comfortable with greenstuff so far, but I suspect milliputt doesn't work with tools as well as greenstuff. Also, milliputt comes in several different grades of grain, so that effects how you can use it also.

Lastly, milliputt dries much slower than greenstuff, so you have to leave it alone for longer.
