hi, i have made an advance on my list from earlier posts so here it is...

What's the point of taking a MOTF if you don't spam Dreadnoughts? You should take a Librarian instead (Null Zone, Infinite Gate and the HOLY HOOD are awesome).

I don't like having 4 different squads. And try to give a Rhino to all of them. TBH, 4 troop choices is too much.

The Dreadnoughts are pretty much useless without a Drop Pod or special weapons. I would give them 2 TL AC.

The Land Speeders are perfect, they just cost 10 points more (70).

I don't like the Predators, they can only shoot once while moving.

If you really want to stay with the MOTF, try to make a Dreadnought oriented list (6 Dreadnoughts).

MOTF is realy good, but he isn't usefull at this list
he has 4 squads for a close range and a MOTF is for long range
if he romove one squad with melta and missile and take a scout squad 5 strong, he will have bodyguards with a 2+ cover save
with that points left he can take 2 drop pods for his dreads...

if he read this and change his list, then it will ben a really hard list!

MOTF is ok but blood ravens make more sence with a libby in charge...plus the aforementioned reasons (hood, powers, FW). Go with the libby, it's not like you're dying for elite slots. He will need somewhere to ride, so you'll need to figure that one out.

First tacs lose the meltabombs, and lose the 4th squad. At 1500 tactical marines are all or nothing, either take all 6 or only as many as you'll need for objectives. 3 will be fine, so long as they all have rhinos. Try and go melta/missile but if you need points flamers are fine.

Land speeders cost 10 more then you've got there, so its 70 a pop.

The dreads need either pods or TL autocannons, a walking dread with a single 24" str 8 shot wont do much. Seeing as you're already going the shooty build take the autocannons.

Would look something like this.

...is 1360 points, which leaves you 140 to buy somewhere for the libby to ride. You might/probably will need to lose either a speeder/dread/pred, and possibly even 2 of them.

Well, Dutchman's list looks better.
You don't need 4 Tacticals, 3 are pretty standard, or 2 if you play it smart.

Just occurred to me now.

Drop a tac squad and either a dread/pred. Then get a land raider with 5 assault termies. Null zone + termies = the bane of most deathstars.

Yeah your list looks better but I would drop a dred for a sternguard squad and use a rhino for them to to allow me still left with 105 points and I would say give my Libby terminator armour and SS for another 35 leaving me with 70 which is conveniently the amount for a third land speeder but if not o would just upgrade the sternguard with 2 more dudes and 4 combi weapons

Your doing a blood ravens list and you dont have a librarian O_o, secondly why in the name of holly Terra are you using land speeders and personally i dont see the need for a transport with a 3+ save.
