Subject: Da 'uge project. A model a day!

Last time I tried to do a panting log, I sort of got started on the wrong foot. But then I asked around for some advice and here I am!
In this log you can expect to see a miniature a day. I will try my best to keep to this promise. To begin with I will be painting my Warmachine Cygnar Army, then I will open a poll to see what army to do next(must be 40k). So without further ado, lets get on with it then!
I painted over the Christmas holidays a cygnar battle group, this being commander srtyker, a charger, lancer and ironclad. I only just finished painting Stryker this morning! LOL!
In the area of warjacks, (and for those of you who don't play warmachine a warjack is those robot thingy's) I am going to include one more warjack, a heavy warjack. But you'll have to wait and see which one it is. In the area of infintary, I'm going to get the black 13th done over the next few days.
Below are the photo's of each individual warjack, Stryker and a group photo of all of them together. I cannot find and image of the charger, but you can see him in the group photo! The Charger is the one on the right.
As per usual, all comments and advice welcome.
They are not based because I don't know what theme I should base them with, desert, grassland or snow.
So, what do you think? Desert, Grass land or Snow?
Delrohir.

Thanks scrazza. At captain pain, probably grassland but it doesn't matter because
I will do the one that looks best with the model Automatically Appended Next Post: Again, I don't really know which one would work the best, but whatever it turns out to be, it will go on my whole army, not just the ones above.
So, please suggest as to which theme would work best. Automatically Appended Next Post: One more question, what do you think of the colour and freehand on the cloak?

I really like all the models. Maybe snow bade will work best with the models, but base the base (lol) blue to contrast with the blue armour before putting the snow on. I like the dirty colour of the cloak and love the freehand.
What do those symbols mean?

As promised, here is watts of the black 13th, I don't think he is as well painted as the others, but here it is anyway, next up will be ryan,
with this model i think i messed up on the trousers, I layered snakebite leather on top of Denheb stone, the drybrushed destert yellow and washed it devlun mud.
So, how do you think you can imrpove this colour scheme?

Looks good so far, but you can make it better by highlighting the blue cloak before washing it. I think.
