Very Tzeentch Khorne themed.. not intentionally... just like tzeentch and didn't want to be weak in CC. I have 94 points left, what do people think i should spend the points on. (Also, I'll come back and edit in my thoughts, but right now I don't have time)

Very solid list, I would recommend some fiends or flesh hounds, they have speed and can get into the back lines to hit on war machines. I prefer life on my Tzeentch hero due to the selection.

Well I can't fit flesh hounds in. Maybe I'll use a fiend and another flamer for 90 points. 1196 is my grand total.


What I was thinking:

Normally on my Herald of Tzeentch, I put the lore of light. It has been extremely helpful in terms of bonuses. The problem was that when I went up against a steamtank (my opponent took it for fun) I had nothing I could do to deal with it. Death will allow me to take care of enemy charcters, debuff my opponents, and have a way to drag that steamtank to its doom. Spellbreaker is a just in case my opponent rolls 4 5's or I have run out of dispell dice because my opponent got double 6's for winds of magic kind of thing.

Herald of Khorne makes Bloodletters even scarier. One of the weaker locuses, but powerful enough none the less. By having 2 standards in the bloodletters unit, I am already benifiting from +2 to combat resolution. +3 if I charge and +1 if my opponent charges. +0 if my opponent charges with a standard and -1 if my opponent charges with same equipment.

Pink horrors support the combat before it gets that far. If I have an extra spell dice for some reason, I will cast flickering fire. Bolt of change and gift of chaos are more likely to be presented. They are prettu resiliant to shooting with a 4++ save and in CC, I can debuff opponents with lore of death to help me out.

Bloodletters: What else can they do?

Flamers of Tzeentch are a noobs way of feeling good. They are easy to use. Seriously, what is less complex than marching 12" and shooting D6 S4 attacks that hit on 4's if I am withing 9"?

Fiend is for War machine hunting. 1 seems resiliant enough to kill at least one war machine.

Questions: What is the point of pyrocasters? They don't seem to be worth the extra 15 points. But the champions in general don't seem woth it to me either unless you get lucky and kill an enemy character in a chalange.

Archer-type champs like the pyrocaster don't do a whole lot. But if a unit gets charged by a super character, you can always challenge him in order to preserve models (bloodthirster versus pawleader). This works best for goblins and skavenslaves, of course, but losing one flamer is better than losing more.

But overkill on chalanges goes towards combat resolution. I chalange my bloodreaper vs a bloodthrister and the bloddthirster will do an exess of 5 wounds esilly, making leadership -5 for daemonic instability., which is loosing on avarage 6 models, maybe more/maybe less.

Skaven and High elves from the Islands of blood,

Warriors of chaos with losts of maraders and a known champion joind in units of chaos warriors

Vampire counts with large unit of grave guard, 2 vampires, a necromancer, and 2 units of 20 ghouls

Empire with x-bow units of 10/20? (I believe 20) and a unit of great swords. All units have wizards with lore of light. And a steamtank

When you are facing heavily armored troops use the lore of metal since it ignores armour saves and the roll to wound is equal to the targets armour
