Hey everyone, long time lurker, limited poster...well my friend convinced me to toss up some pics of my thunderwolves. im fairly happy with them, I dont fool myself into thinking im some masterclass painter/modeller, but some C&C would be apreciated basicaly I used the plastic juggys when they came out, to justify it I had a little fluffy bit written up for warmasters tourny here last summer, cant find it now but the basics are they are actually juggys, captured in battle and after years of purging/modification and combined efforts by the wolf priests, rune priests and iron priests they are stripped of their insides and replaced by sarcophagus(spelling? ) and when a wulfen falls in battle, if he can be salvaged he is entombed inside. so bascialy my wolf guard are ridding wulfen dreadnoughts lol reading that again comes off a bit weird but if I ever find the fluffy bit I wrote ill post it up makes more sense

also sorry for the lower quality pics my crackberrys all I have for a camera...also the snow needs to be redone, my mix was way off so you may notice its come off in some places

The beasts look scary as all you know what and they look strong enough to bear Space Marines into battle. Interesting choice of mount, but given a great conversion job, they fit in pretty well.

Awesome!!! Glad someone finally did this.

Finally a unit of these in which the mounts look like they can actually bear the riders.

The basing is nice as well.

Really nicely done ... they look appropriately huge and scary! Only quibble: not sure about the rhino horn on one of them.

Good work, fella.

You know... those would be perfect if you were playing them as Luna Wolves...

Nice job on the models... :-)

thanks for the positive feed back guys! was expecting more intweb grumble and I agree, all of them were actually built and painted in the 24hrs leading up to a tourny, and theres a few parts looking back id like to change..but theres another 9 in the works so hopefully they turn out a bit better. and the fact marines actually look like they can ride them is the main reason I used them, I find alot I see around look...strange with marines actually on them. thanks again for the pos feedback!

Your Thunderwolf Cavalry are amazing. The Juggernauts are a good touch with the wolf pelts over them.
