Demetrius was a very powerful Chaos Lord, resplendant in his dark, deathly Tactical Dreadnaught Armour. When an errant Melta Gun shot wounded him mortally, his Leiutenant left him there to die. The Obliterators in his force, seeing a golden opportunity, stole his body and worked their deep, dark sorceries, combining Flesh, Machine, and Daemon into one super killing machine. When Demetrius awoke encased in his giant sarcophocus, he immediately sought out his old warband and slaughtered all those who left him there to die.

Demetrius; Dreadnaught Lord of the Gods

WS: 4 BS: 3 S: 6(10) AVF: 12 AVS: 12 AVR: 10 I: 4 A: 3(4) LD: 10

Equipment:
Two Dreadnaught Close Combat Weapons with Incorperated Flamers (Counts as TL Flamer)
Calamity Launcher

Special Rules:
Madness
Daemonic Possession
Infernal Device

Madness: Demetrius is enraged at the betrayal by his right hand man, and even more so at being incased in a metal sarcophagus! The player controls Demetrius normally at the beginning of the game. However, at the first Penetrating Hit in the game, he becomes subject to the Crazed special Rule on page 40 of the Chaos Space Marine Codex, with one exception: on a 1-2, he is subject to Fire Frenzy, 3-4 he is controlled as normal, and on a 5-6 he is subject to Blood Rage.

Daemonic Possesion: See page 87 of the Chaos Space Marine Codex.

Infernal Device: Demetrius is encased in a creation of the Obliterators, a amalgamation of Flesh, Machine, and Daemon; he does not go down easily! All attacks against Demetrius count as having -2 to their strength characteristic. Example: A Lascannon shot at Demetrius would count as Str 7, not Str 9, a Space Marine with a Power Fist would be Str 6, not Str 8.

OR

Infernal Device: Demetrius Always counts as being Hull Down for shooting attacks.

Calamity Cannon: The Calamity Cannon is an interesting prototype weapon; it gathers large ammounts of Warp Energy, and fires it over a large area for a total obliteration of known space. It has the following profile:

Range: 18" Str: 4 AP: 1 Special Rules: Heavy 2, Blast, Sorcerous

Sorcerous: The Calamity Cannon is fired using a large amount of Warp Energy. Roll a Psychic Test every time you want to fire the Calamity Cannon. If passed, the Cannon fires normally. If the test is failed, however, Immediately resolve all shots from the Calamity Cannon as though Demetrius is under the effects of Fire Frenzy. The Calamity Cannon counts as a Psychic Power for the purpose of granting Immunities; Kharne is immune to it, Psychic Hoods can dispel it, etc.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I think he might be slightly overpowered, so I didn't give him a points cost (I was thinking somewhere in the 150-250 point ranges, but I will wait on feedback for it). Also, I am unsure as to which Infernal Device would be more appropriate.

I do good?

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

2 changes I could recommend -

1: Change the idea of "all attacks getting -2S" to "attacks may not roll more than 1D6 for penetration"

2: The Calamity Cannon is a good idea, but if it affects psykers then surely it should have to take a Psychic Test? A nice idea would be to make him have to take a Psychic Test, but if failed, he immediatly acts due to the Fire Frenzy rule!

Thanks for the feedback

As for the suggestions:

1: I don't know. I am considering that, but I don't want him to die first turn to a multilazer like most of my dreadnaughts seem to these days .

2: Good Idea, adding in now

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.
