That anvil shield is a little big.

Arjac had less hair if I recall, but the shield is OMGWTFBBQ Awesome! Very fitting choice for a Space Wolf ubershield.

I look at that shield and it reminds me of the movie snatch - "heavy is good. heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work, you can always hit them with it."

Only minor critique I have is the hammer his wielding looks like its a little out of control, maybe reposition slightly? great paint job :-)

I guess if you are going for a anime really big look then it looks fine. If you would compare it to every other miniature in the game of warhammer 40k, then it is freakishly huge and unwieldy. It doesn't really look like a shield but more like a huge anvil that he is hiding behind while bracing himself on it.

Great painting though.

Yeah, seems a little bit too big for me too :/ (TWSS) It almost looks like he's hiding behind a pillar or something

Maybe splitting it in half so that it's thinner would be good, but it seems to be too late for that ^^
