I was readin through the warbikers entry in the Ork codex, and read the little bit of fluff in which one biker activates a rocket on the bottom of his bike so he can fly into a Tau gunline. It got me thinking, Orks are the kind of people what would be more than willing to sacrifice themselves for a burny, speedy death, so here is my proposed rule:

Drugba's Gainin' On Me!:

After a mob of warbikers have turbo-boosted in the movement phase, they may choose to assault an enemy unit.

Of course, turbo-boosting into an enemy unit is absolutley suicidal, so all bikers who choose to do this are taken off the board as casualties, with no saves allowed. However, every biker causes D6 wounds on the enemy as he crashes and burns in their ranks. Saves may be taken as normal by the victims of the assault.

Bikers can also attempt this on an enemy vechile. However, due to the solid qualities of most vechiles, the bikers still die, but inflict a 'crew stunned' result on the target vechile, presumably because the crew are so confused as to why bikers are ramming them.

If you ram a Monolith, you will do gak all to it, so don't bother.

I just thought that this would be a fun rule, in addition to being a very Orky thing to do.

In the Webway.

It's very orky. Extreemly orky indeed. And fun.

It seems a bit harsh, removing all the bikers. I think it should be a bit more like boss zagstrukks rule. So how about:

Turbocharge:

Ork Bikers may attempt to assault after they have turbo boosted that turn. If it is succesful then they make contact with the enemy like the mob of green, petrol smelling maniacs they are. Because of this the orls gain +2S instead of the normal 1 granted by their furious charge. However a turbocharge is incredibly suicidal so before any blows are strukk remove D3 bikers, these are the bikers that have lost control and fell to their death

Thanks!

It seems a bit of a small price to pay for effectively ignoring the bike rules. However, wouldn't this mean that the biker nob would get stregnth 10? If so, awesome !
