I like the spatter effect, just glanced at your other thread and see it was to be like dirt. However, I think it is starting to look like a starry background. You could really go wild with this and try to enhance that effect somehow. Use some of the blue you've used on the cockpit windows as a glaze around certain areas to create a nebula-like effect, and add more spatter in a clustered type of way with maybe even a little red or yellow. Its just an idea though, they are really nice just the way they are so there's no real need to change anything.

At first glance, it looks as though the universe was painted across the hull, which is kinda cool.
