Had some time to work more on my templars. I have had them since 3rd edition, and decided to redo alot of stuff since I know more about modeling now. Unfortunatley since the guys I game with havent seem them before I was labeled a band wagoner, even though for the last year I have played orks and the hypocrits all play blood angels, mech guard, and space wolves. Should start painting soon, just wanted to show some of the putty work (first atempt) and conversions before I start painting. The leader was already done, but I wanted to redo his shield symbol, as I wasent happy with how it turned out from plasticard.

Started painting, but may have been a mistake 6 hours in a row burns you out, well me anyway. Hopefully Ill find the will to paint more tomorrow. Missing what I need for scorchmarks for the rocket pack though. Outright finished one model minus some paints im missing to see the end result. Not pro by any means, but good enough for me.

The painting is good and clean, the putty needs some work. Thin the putty a lot more before you put it on the model and I think you'll get much closer to the desired result. A good file set will help you sharpen the icon on the shield.

Sculpting take practice, that is all (coming from a beginner himself).
