I have just started a WIP for a Tyrannofex that can be converted to a Tervigon on the go. I started with a clam shell I found at work. I am not using green stuff at the moment. I am using milliput, it seems to work nice. curing time is a few hours, but I usually let it cure while i sleep or go to school or go to work and it dries hard as a rock too.
This is the left side of it.
I added a tube near the back of the shell so I can insert the legs when it is time for them and to make it look a little more realistic.
When I was sizing up the head it seemed to be bumping into everything. So I extended the neck so I would have a little more play.
I attached the head to the body (shell) in the position I wanted. and let it sit to cure.

First, I am sorry about the bad quality of the pictures.
Second, let me explain about the title of the post. I am planning on making the model have magnetic parts to convert the model from tervigon to tyrannofex and back.
I did some work on the cannon for the Tyrannofex "mode" but since I am laking in my bits atm it looks like a blob. I also want to give credit where it is due. I got the idea for the cannon from Syypher's Tyrannofex conversion, http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/334523.page.
Well here is what I have got done since last night.
A shot to dhow the cash register paper roll.
One of the views with the arms that hold the cannon.
A better shot with both arms shown.
I put the gun on a carnifex back plating and used the thorn back spikes for the end of the cannon, I also used the deathspitter arms for the support arms for the cannon.
Please feel free to comment. I would love any ideas I can get to try and improve on my modeling abilitys or any thoughts about what i could add to the model.

Well since I was not able to get on for the past few days. I will have a lot of stuff to upload.
I cut the carnifex crushing claws so I would be able to have a extra set of legs for the model. He is very top heavy and needed the extra support.
The arms from the crushing claws were not long enough to reach the body so I had to find some way to extend them. Since I used the arm parts of the deathspitters to support the cannon I desided to not let any bits go to waste and glued them to the claws and sculpted the upper leg onto them, as you will see below.
Since this is a conversion meant to be either a Tervigon or a Tyrannofex, I mounted magnets on the top and the under belly along with the carapace the cannon is mounted to and the plain carapace, so I would be able to swap out the carapaces when I needed.
After the magnets were in place I could swap around the armor. And I want to put this on the record too. Those legs were a pain in my to get to stay in place without pinning.
Now that all that was taken care of I was able to put the talons on. Below is a picture with him next to my Trygon for a size comparison.
