Anyone tried fielding Grotsnik and a large boyz mob or large gretchin mob? I figure 20-30 FnP grots make an excellent tarpit and 30 Boyz with him could provide great benefits, although upgrading units to be cyborks is too pricy.

Except you are almost never going to be able to use the FNP, because even bolters negate them due to grots being T2

10 Cybork grots are a fantastic retinue for a sag mek, just take a rutherd for leadership and use the meks leadrship for the tests and you get another 11 saves for 100pts, expensive but if it lets you take out 5 terminators, definatly worth it.

Just make sure to make them choppa boyz and not shoota boyz. Cause of his *rage* rule, they need to assault into the nearest thing. So you can't hold them back and shoot.

Otherwise, a solid idea. Though I do think he is overpriced.

I'd say a unit of MANZ is a good retinue for him. Give them all Cybrok and a BW and they will chew through pretty much anything.

I like the idea of cybork grots with a Sag unit.

Cybork Green Tide would also be hilarious, they'd clock in around 11pts each but you'd still be able to get a lot of them in most lists.

Cybork mobs in buggies might work aswell, 6 mobs in trukks sounds good, at least 1 trukk will live and a kff will keep a few alive, then everyone has a 5+ invunerable save and mobs will be around 130pts for 11 cyborks and a pk nob.

Having read the other closed thread, I will bring here something suggested in there:
cybork burnas
Think about it, 6+/5++/FNP power weapons, say, 10 of them, so thats 30 attacks on the charge,

30 'ard boyz w/ feel no pain will give anyone a massive headache in assault, and will nicely screen all the other boyz from shooting.

(So, now I was told that the above had no uppercase letters... so here's another sentence to get past the message box. I'm not sure the above sentence needs any capitals to be grammatically correct.).
