I use this guy as my Wolf Lord. He's actually pretty harsh. He's a Wolf Lord in Runic Armor riding a Thunderwolf Mount with a Frost Blade and Belt of Russ and the Saga of Majesty. Run him in a unit of Fenrisian Wolves or Thunderwolf Cavalry and he's quite a force to be reckoned with. I entered him in Golden Demon Chicago in 2009 and he made it into the First Cut, which was actually a hell of a surprise because he wasn't my best model, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

So, where's his wolf?

excellent work! on a side note, what the hell is Russ's real hair color? I've seen him portrayed as both blonde and as a redhead, which is he?

That's why I made mine a red-ish blonde. In the book "Prospero Burns" it describes his hair as being like blonde hair that had been turned red with dried blood. So yeah... still up for questioning.

Absolutely beautiful, but I have to say, he pales in comparison to some of the other things you've shown us lately.

He's a much older piece. I sculpted him in either 2006 or 2008, one or the other, and haven't really touched him since. I just decided to do a Space Wolves army, so I figured "who better to lead them?"

Well, on the "Prospero Burns" cover he's blonde, but on the "Horus Heresy Collected Visions" he's like Mel Gibson's William Wallace :/

Personally, I'd go for cinder blonde.
