Part of a commission I did for a friend's Circle of Orboros army. I wanted to stay true to his wintery color scheme, yet keep Wurmwood's roots in blood sacrifice clearly visible (pun intended). So, I cut out the center of the base and replaced the bottom with plasticard so it's deeper, and filled it with water effects (plus a hint of red+brown ink). I was aiming for it to look as if the tree is turning the ground around it into blood, and I think I did pretty well. ^.^ Not visible due to the reflective surface are the rest of the skulls, which are actually murkily visible in the depths of the gore. Cassius will have a similar base, with bloodstained snow around Wurmwood's root.

Depends. If the tree also happens to be in a forest, you automatically miss with the fireball.
