Looks pretty good dude! I think the base needs a bit of work though. Too much grass on the bottom, should have left some patches empty and had some bare dirt poking through. Also, the stone itself could use some detailing.

If the base were smaller, it would be fine, but as it is it is a big a part of the piece as the mini itself, therefore you have to up your game to get the base on par with the great job you did on the mini -

Very nice work! I agree with Tom about the grass on the bottom, and maybe some runes etched into the rock he is standing on?

The pic is a little fuzzy but I can see some real skill in your painting, the face is especially good!

Also, the runes on the rock sounds like an awesome idea.

About the base, I have had a few comments from my mates about getting some mini with my base

Even better than I had imagined it! The glow looks really good and goes great with a space wolf army.
